Quote:Nobody can "force" someone else to change. But something needs to happen that is not happening in rehab. Maybe he needs a better rehab facility. Whatever he needs, he is not getting it.

has he even gone to rehab? we really don't know and from all the facts we do know, it doesn't look like it had any affects if he went.

sure you can force someone to change, its called treating them like they are in jail and forcing them to take medication that won't allow them to drink without making them sick

yes once you stop doing that they probably will go back, but the Jags could have him back on the field if they did that

Quote:By obersving the very little public appearances we've seen of him when he apologized you can tell that he is not wholeheartedly committed to changing.  If he doesn't want to change (which the facts would support is true) then he's not going to change.  Very unfortunate situation.

When his suspension started, he seemed to be saying all the right things on paper. I could only take the words for face value because I did not see him talk. So I thought he wants to change until it was clear he is not interacting with the team at all and still drinking. I would think Caldwell should cut him if I was not afraid of what he could do to us by playing for another team.

Never saw this...this story was right before the July weed arrest.  I don't think anything supports JB coming back.  Dude is a problem.

That report says June 2014, however if you actually read it, it reads like it was before the draft. It talks about Justin just playing in the Bowl game
Quote:The question is irrelevant.  The Jags were done with him prior to his most recent buffoonery.  Time to move on and forget about him.

Anything to back that up? If they were truly done with him, there's really no reason why they wouldn't have released him by now, right?
Quote:He works there. His name is Barracuda and he is a garden gnome that stocks the shelves.

I have no idea why but I can't stop laughing!
Quote:My cat Sir Meow smokes like an ounce a week. As long as he doesn't drive, I don't see a problem with it.

LOL you have to stop!

so does Sir Meow

He doesn't have a problem! He can quit if he wants to.

His friend Eleanor says she might be able to get him a job at Best Buy.

He will take a break from smoking if he gets an interview.

With a name like that, he was destined to hook up with the kitty lettuce sometime during his life.

He should have tried PetSmart....

I hear they got some cool cats there.

I think Caldwell is trying to make sure no other teams can get him.

Your opinion of how you interpreted his apologies isn't actually fact. It's your opinion.

In reality, none of us know if he wants to change or not unless we are talking to him directly. Since nobody on this board is doing anything of the sort, it's safe to assume we really don't know what he's thinking, or what he may be doing to address his situation.

For all we know, he may be sitting in rehab right now. Or he could be hanging out at the bar continuing down that path. We will know soon enough one way or the other.

Petsmart has no cats. If you want a cat, go to a shelter.  Smile

You should probably pray for him too.

Or any "reputable" restaurant serving Asian cuisine.

They don't? Then those are some really weird looking dogs at my local PetSmart.... :woot:

LOL I know who to pray for: members of the Jacksonville Jaguars. And that includes Justin Blackmon because his life is a mess.

Maybe you saw a local shelter's cats living there. Petsmart does not sell dogs either.

Not all locations host animals from local shelters. However, there may be an adoption event like I have seen at Petco.

Will you pray for Sir Meow to kick his horrible reefer habit?
Quote:It does not matter if the weed was for someone else. If he had weed in his car, he broke the law. Considering his drug history, it is a safe bet the weed was for

.

Well, does size matter in this particular case? I suspect that it's an intregal part of the equation here...carry on.
