You need to back off with your personal attack against me.  I'm as real a fan as anyone else.  The Jags position last year was that they were planning as if he wouldn't be on the roster.  That was before being busted in July for marjuana.  The current staff (Dave Caldwell) did not draft him anyway, Gene Smith did, so DC was not covering anything.  They are being smart with the situation.  If, by some miracle, JB is reinstated and actually in shape to play and can keep his nose clean (pun intended) then it MAY be beneficial to the Jags.

 

Yes, as a human being, I also hope he gets his life together first and foremost.  Secondly, I believe it is extremely unlikely he plays football again.  The kid's mind isn't right and his heart is not in the sport IMHO.

Actually, Nov. 1st would be the earliest he could be reinstated.

 

According to the NFL drug policy, he can apply for reinstatement 60 days prior to the 1 year anniversary of receiving the letter that formally notifies him of his suspension. That 60 day mark was at the beginning of this week.

 

I don't know if the NFL doesn't make it public if someone applies for reinstatement or he hasn't applied.

BTW JW. I was on vacation in Oklahoma last weekend and I saw Justin blackmon and sir meow waiting in line at a strip club.


They looked pretty messed up.


I'd definitely say it was a bad sign.

They (King and Florio) said that new drug policy changes might eliminate Welker and Josh Gordon's suspensions entirely. No mention of JB butttttttttttttt you never know.
