We need those "elite measurables" on our roster.  Carolina has the best receiving corps in the league on their practice squad in one man. 

The "best" receiver on the team is at it again with being soft eh. Won't be long before the concussion comes chasing this latest injury. This dude is like clockwork.

In every thread you're always saying how we shouldn't give in and give Shorts a big contract. Why would Shorts demand a big contract? He will be pretty cheap. 

The best ability is availability. If shorts can't stay healthy he is not work resigning.  I hope he can have a healthy year.  Between concussions and hamstrings it's a tough bet that he will remain healthy.

They've allowed McDonald's to pick one employee to handle contract negotiations for the team.

Let's not make this out to be more than it is. The guy played in 27 out of 32 games the past two years. Ideally it would be all 32, but he's not in Derek Cox territory yet.

I find it unusual the fixation on Shorts, when Robinson has had the same problem this preseason.

 

Maybe it's because you can soil your Shorts, but not your Robinson?

If after 3 years Robinson has the same china doll injury rep that Shorts has earned, he'll also be the target of criticism.

Well, more talented, IMO, yes. 

 

THat doesn't mean I don't want Shorts to do well. 

 

Its better for the Jags in all facets for Shorts to do well and remain healthy. More options.

O'Halloran just said on Jaguars Today that Hurns is probably #50 on the 53 man roster.  He's elite.
