I know, I know, PFT. I know, I know, predictions are stoopid.
I found it interesting regardless and its a small bit of reading.

One guy has the Jags as a 6 seed the other as a 5 seed. Both have them losing in the wild card round to the Ravens/Patriots.
Two more guys are totally clueless about the quarterback situation. How many more times do Caldwell and Bradley need to say Chad Henne is the starter until next season?

At least once a week until Bortles is the starter this season.
Chad will be the starter...until Bortles is.
I don't expect Chad to play all 16 games.
They must obviously think Bortles is starting rather soon. I agree that if he is we have a shot at the playoffs.
Playoffs? Playoffs? Talking about playoffs? I hope we can win a game.
some posters here think the colts are a powerhouse and a lock to win the division.
some of those same posters think its likely the texans also win 8 games.
i think the colts are a lot weaker than common perception. if the jaguars can play smart football, low on the mistakes, i dont think its crazy that we can maybe sneak in to the playoffs.

Yes, it's obvious, and with good reason. Bortles was clearly better than Henne and looks like a guy that needs only time spent playing in order to become a top tier QB.
PFT has no clue what they are talking about 99% of the time, but when they predict the Jags to make the playoffs, they instantly turn into to greatest football analyst' on Earth.

Where did this come from? Nobody has done that here.

The "Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy!" segment of the board has spoken.

Way to show your colors idiot.

Well I would have to say atleast once considering they have never said that to my knowledge.

Well, they probably need to say it at least once.
If it's Henne the whole season it's a 7-9 record at best

My sentiments exactly.

No better time to have hope for the success of the team this year than now.

I have plenty of hope for the success of this team right now. I just tend to not let my hopes get too high. I'm still stuck in the "I hope we can muster an 8-8 season" stage. If we finish the first quarter of the season better than .500, then I might change my tune a bit.

In this division, with a little luck, 8-8 has the potential to put the Jags in the playoff mix.
From my perspective, 8-8 would be a phenomenal year, especially if the team is starting to get into a rhythm late in the year.

Outside of Luck, they are not much better than the 2-14 team from 2011.
