Of course he is not playing where was drafted.  But Gene,  selecting Anger in third round.  Speaks volumes.  About his drafting ability.

We were not discussing Gene Smith and his drafting. We were talking about Alualu and his solid play. Hes a decent player. Hes cheap, hes rotation, he can play multiple positions. Lets start with the players who are over paid like Jared Odrick.

As to your "telling Blake" point, so you'd rather put the team into a position to where they are now essentially forced to find a veteran back up QB instead of giving your starting QB a plan of action for improving his play?

 

If it's me, I'd put a higher priority on helping the player's get better instead of unnecessary roster moves in January.
