I guess we all have agendas then because everyone has their player likes/ dislikes as well as their own opinions on front office/ and coaching.

I'll bring up a player if it relates to the point of discussion OR if someone else brings said player up first in a thread.

 

As an example....if theres a thread dealing with the OL, I'm not bringing up Shorts/ talking about him in that thread. Yet, your broad accusation will assert that I do this.

I'm not really a Shorts guy. I think he is a walking time bomb with his concussion issue. And his knack for soft tissue injuries isn't helpful either. I actually support floating him out there for trade.


That said, talent is not his problem. He's a very talented guy. And he's one of the hardest workers on the team.


Hurns has had a nice preseason, but to act like he is some greater talent than Shorts is a bit premature.

It's okay as long as they support the viewpoint of the bar stool diva. 

I don't think Hurns is better than Shorts yet but here are a few reasons to why he could be if his game remains consistent from pre-season.

 

1. Hands. Hurns easily has better hands. Has the guy dropped one pass? I recall he had one pass in his hands that was knocked out by a DB who has his arms around him (was PI but not called).

 

2. Route running. The guy is where the ball is on a constant basis.

 

3. Pressure. It doesn't appear to phase him. He didn't look lost and nervous in the 2 minute drill against the Lions. He constantly showed up and made big plays when they were needed.

 

4. Size. He can break tackles with relative ease. Looks more muscular than he did in Miami.

I agree with and see all of the above, too.
