Quote:FSU didn't suspend a player that admitted to a crime. - 100% false. I know baseball suspensions apparently don't count, but it is a suspension.
I said they had to. Several people have said they need to. The Idaho game never happened. Therefore they never served a suspension.
wow, well why not just suspend him from his intermural flag football game? that counts, right?

The double standard amongst fan bases (not just FSU fans either) is pretty funny.

Football is where his bread is buttered at FSU. It was to easy for Jimbo to use baseball in that situation.
Since it hasn't been decided yet whether or not the game will be replayed at a later date...aren't ya getting a little prematurely sanctimonious and faux outraged?
Quote:They all do it. It all depends on the specific team that you root for. Your team = it's Ok. Rival Team = Worst crime in NCAA
Exactly. This is not some new thing that Muschamp is doing. Team suspensions are a joke.
They announced yesterday afternoon, the game won't be replayed.
Team suspensions are normally a "slap on the wrist". Most players that are suspended usually sit out a mediocre game and aren't really missed against so so competition. UF has done this before, so nothing new here.

Okay...everyone can continue on being faux outraged then.
Carry on.

Arrrrr!!!!! I'm so mad they didnt get to sit out a meaningless game that they were going to blow out anyway! Arrrr!!!!!!
They got to practice with the team up to the game, they just had to sit out a meaningless game. What an injustice.

You mean, UF/FSU/every school known to man has done this before

Exactly. It's symbolic. The way Meyer used to suspend players was even more laughable.
