Have it happen in preseason to make sure it doesn't happen in the regular season. We can't break contain against Philly, or Mccoy will eat our lunch

Really. It was a bad play. Stuff happens.

Bad play, generally great day for the defense though.  Dropped 2 interceptions on the first drive but Branch made the unexpected play considering the matchup.  Even with Henne at the helm, if we only allow 13 PPG we'll win a lot of ball games.

Because of Joique Bell (round 8 iirc), Reggie Bush lasted until the 14th round of my fantasy draft lol

Gratz was well blocked by a bigger player. He did nothing wrong.

I'm fine with it if it's an overeager player, but Bryant wasn't as much blocked as he pushed to the inside and didn't contain the edge.  Cyprien got caught up in the wash because he was tentative.  I think he hesitated because Bryant wasn't where he was expected to be.  It happens.

Looked like Bryant might have even been held as he tried to push back to the outside when he saw Reggie cut back.  Also - it was a really great cut-back by Bush.  I thought Cyp committed to quickly to a gap in the middle and was stuck there  once Reggie changed direction. Seemed like if he'd stayed home a beat longer he wouldn't have been stuck trying to get around Bryant to tackle the RB. 

 

Regardless of how it breaks down  -- it seems very correctable. 

It is extremely correctable, but we must burn someone at the stake.

You should probably start a thread about it, or just hijack every other thread with your Cyprien rants.  You have your new target to obsess over because of one play in which a player took responsibility for the mistake.  But, of course, as usual, you can look into your glittery crystal ball and determine it wasn't Bryant to blame because if that was true, your whole laughable agenda would fizzle before it really got started.  Whine on, diva.  Whine on.

Several of us on this thread have pointed out that Cyp too aggressively jumped the wrong gap.
