Quote:All costs for business are eventually paid by the customers. Payroll taxes are paid by the employees in the form of lower wages, unless you really believe that your employers pays their "half" and it's not at your expense.
Ok all income is obviously generated at the point of sale my point is once that money is received it's taxed multiple times through the corporation.

Yes employers pay the same taxes deducted from employees both pay taxes on that other wise revenue. I pay a mechanic $600 a week his deductions are $100 I also have to write a check to the IRS for $100 to match his deductions. That's after I've paid the sales tax I collected. Now consider the tax I pay on various other pens such as a $1 per tire state fee taxes on used oil disposal taxes on every ounce of 134a discharged and so on yea corporations especially at the smaller level pay suffocating taxes.

That's odd, when I get those type of services I have a Service Fee line on the invoice that shows that I've paid that tax for the company, be shop fee, misc supplies, or Environmental Disposal Fee or any other name for "the government gets this share.". That's for product purchase and for contracted services like cable and cell phones, etc. No company pays anything in taxes that wasn't extracted from the customer in some form, they are a simple pass through collection agency for government funds.

You're arguing semantics, all income is customer based for a business there's no arguing that. However that income is then taxed at the local, state and federal level numerous times. It's taxed when the business collects the funds (sales tax) it's taxed when the business pays it's employee's (federal income tax, medicaid, and social security taxes) it's taxed when the business spends the money, it's taxed when the business retains the money.

Saying corporations don't pay taxes is lazy and simply not true. I know everyone loves to beat up in big evil corporations, but a simple LLC and you're a corporation and guess what your tax bill just doubled. It's just as false as when you hear people say the poor don't pay taxes, you bet they pay taxes!

EVERYONE is paying to much in taxes. It's really simple, we just need to make government smaller.
