Quote:Ya can't do it it. So hush. And troll another board.
Like I said useless comment of the day.
Quote:This team finished 3 - 13. Plenty of blame to go around. The kicker is the least of our worries right now. How many times did we see Parnell and Beachum kill any positive plays or momentum on offense this year with a false start or holding call? How many games did Bortles end up finishing as the leading rusher for the team this year? Despite the overall defensive ranking this year. Where were the turnovers? Where was the pass rush outside of Malik Jackson and Yannick Nagackoue? The list goes on and on man....
Parnell should be giving his walking papers.  Beachum first year in a new system.
Quote:Here's the issue.

If you have a problem at a key position it's not easy to find a good replacement, it's very difficult. With a kicker you can sign just about any FA kicker right now and they will be better than Meyers. It's too easy to allow it to continue.

Up until yesterday he was 25/30 for the year on FG's which puts us in the middle of the pack for the season. He was also 29/32 for XP which isn't great, but not the worse. I think bringing in some competition would be a good move.

Like I said your a troll.  Give ultimatums.  But can't answer a simple question yourself. Don't like it,  When shoe is on other foot huh?

Who is your replacement for him?

Depends on whats available. But great point.
Quote:Thats a lie.  You have no proof to make that statement.  Cause all elite qbs with that much pressure fumble the ball or make ints.  Read that back to yourself.  You are a very smart poster.  Yet this is bonehead without thought reply.

I watched Rodgers last night make Ansah miss more than once and buy time and make that play. I've seen Ben make guys miss, roll out left and right and he's still looking behind him before he decides to plant his feet and chuck it deep. And if you wan't proof go look it up yourself. Bortles has had 29 career fumbles. He had 15 last year and lead the entire NFL. Roethlisberger had just 2 last year and Rodgers just about half that with 8.

But Rodgers is not a third year player and technically would be a rookie if was. Nor is big ben.  Nor have either had to deal with a buffoon like gus.  The only vet Bortles could learn from was chad.  Not Farve or Maddax.

In a thread blaming a kicker for being the donkey of the game yesterday I stated the defense could have held their own in the final drive or not allowed them to score so many points when we were leading by a wide margin. You on the other hand ask me to name Jags players from 1997 or I'm a troll. Who's really the troll?

Thats not the point.  Troll.  No substance.  Just assumptions or a hidden agenda.  You can't say.  Well yes or no.  If when asked a question yourself ignore it.  Another words who the heck are you. I been on the board over 10 years and never seen your name till today. So hide on troll.

Vinatieri missed a kick too. Cost him $500k in a missed performance incentive.

If they stop them on that final drive we don't even have this thread. That itself is not an assumption that is FACT.Never seen me before today. I lurked on here before the board changed over to this new now old platform. Your longevity on this board doesn't make you better than the guy who signs up today. Stick to the topic at hand or sign off drink some tea and relax cause you're wound up for no reason.

Making too many excuses for him. Protecting the football is basics. You get taught that left and right at every level. Especially if you're the quarterback that's touching it more than anybody else on the team. Some of that stuff can't be coached.

As far as Favre helping Rodgers? That's been well known and documented that Brett was a complete [BAD WORD REMOVED] to Aaron and did little to nothing in coaching him up or helping him. Brett's gone on record saying he regrets that. Maddox was garbage. We retired him.

I'm over the Myers roller coaster.  Bring in some fresh blood to edge him out in camp.

So are you saying Ben didnt fumble in his third year or Arron didnt?

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highl...en-fumbles that didnt happen

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highl...-by-Dallas nor did that right.

They all fumble with pressure. And no idea if was third year or this year.

Kickers are weird in the way they start to suck outta nowhere. Kinda like a prize fighter.  Once they're done, they're done, apparently. Wonder what Scobee is up to these days.
Fire everyone.

This team needs only perfect players with a 0.00% error factor.

That will fix everything.

With the new rules they have taken the "clutch" out of the kicker. What was once a gimme is now a gamble. That is league wide not just the jaguars.
