Quote:Not only is Gratz playing well, but drafting him shows that Caldwell does his homework. His teammate from UCONN, Blidi Wreh-Wilson was considered the better prospect. Gratz was off the board before Wreh-Wilson was picked. Caldwell may miss on a few, but it's so much mot comforting to watch us draft quality role players at least instead of guys from Colorado School of Mines that never stick. Gratz has potential, let's just hope he stays healthy.

Trying to be smarter than everyone else by doing that kind of thing might be OK in the seventh round. Maybe the sixth. But gene was trying it pretty much anywhere after round 1.

Its similar to what TMD tries to do with the players he falls in love with. He's just trying to be the odd man out with an opinion that's smarter than everyone else.

Even in round one, he did it. I don't want to mention the players name in fear of getting this thread derailed.

Gratz is still developing, but I expect him to be a solid, building-block player for us. I think he has the potential to lockdown our #2 corner spot for years to come, and maybe Colvin can be that #1 in a couple years.

I say cb 2 at the worst. He's playing like a stud cb right now.

I'll wait for the regular season to make that determination, but I sure hope so. Love his physicality and he does have a swagger to him. If he can lock down the #1 cb spot, even better for us. He was impressive against Chicago.
Quote:he is not.
So all the quiet is voluntary...

You love his "physicality"?  Physicality is too broad and players like the word because it makes people think they know large words. Sounds like you're saying he's a really strong, but he doesnt know the rest of the definition where it means lack of mental capacity.

The real definition of the word is as follows (predominance of the physical usually at the expense of the mental, spiritual, or social )

Either you are a liar, or you don't realize that there are two accepted definitions.

You should stick to trolling. Although you're not all that good at it, you're definitely better at that than this.

i agree, stick to trolling. thats like saying because someone is intelligent, they cant be physically fit.

hilarious that you try to make someone else look bad and prove your ignorance doing it.

that's not what it means in the football world.
He needs to stay healthy first and foremost. Gratz was attacking the line of scrimmage and making good sure tackles in open space. This is rare in the game these days and like the op said we looked like the Seahawks for a few moments. He got beat once but I think he's gonna turn heads this year just stay on the field.

last season as a rookie gratz held opposing QB's to a 70 QB rating on all passes thrown on him...

if anyone think's gratz isn't very good or just a guy, they are greatly mistaken

really good in man press coverage and a great open field tackler

Quote:Meh. It's a decent start. You need to make up a derogatory nickname if you want to take your game to the next level though.
Watch it, Mr. Poopyface.
