Quote:Right, I'm giving my opinions on whats going on/ why the struggles are happening.

Its YOU all that get bent outta shape over that.

My opinions are reflecting what I am seeing from said players/ coaches. They do essentially write my posts for me. My opinions stem directly from their performance combined with select research that supports the argument via past performance of said players/ coaches.
When you frame it this way  ^  you could say that the coaches and players "write" all of our posts.   I'm not bent outta shape over it. Not at all.   I was just trying to check you when I thought you went a bit 'over the line.'  You might even be right about Yarno having some negative effect on the run game. I haven't seen enough to think that way yet, but it's possible. It's certainly not a foregone conclusion, though.

I just happen to think that it's ludicrous to say your opinions and hypotheses are "written" by the Jags players and coaches.  They are your opinions, dude. Nothing more.
Quote:Its actually WORSE when you consider Mojo was the featured back both years and his YPC declined almost 1.5 YPC.

If Mojo's YPC in Oakland in 2014 remains similar to the 3.4 YPC in 2013 in Jax, then it will help to take some of the focus off of the OL/ Yarno.

MJD played 6 games in 2012 before suffering a lis franc injury.  His stats were largely influenced by a monster game against Indy.
So many threads derailed its not even funny

No thanks, the topic of this "conversation," doesn't interest me one bit. I'm just making an observation on the childish back and forth I'm reading here.

Like I said, he is extremely good at what he does.

He is the pure definition of trolling.

I think this board has some smart people able to discuss actual football topics.

But for whatever reason TMD is allowed to troll this board and make it his own clown circus.

Happens every year.

He trolls, gets banned, is allowed back, trolls again.

Rinse, repeat.

Makes the board unreadable most of the time.
Quote:As added in the post above ^^^, MoJo is declining, I agree....but he's NOT as done as the 3.4 last year would suggest. He goes back over 4.0 YPC this year in Oakland, you watch.

I promised myself I wouldn't fall for the bait of this thread, but I just couldn't take it anymore after the above^^^^

Even I am getting fed up with this non-sense. I've realized since last season that TMD does not actually watch the games.  He takes highlights and stat-lines to figure out his opinion.  If you watched MoJo last year, you'd see he fell off quite a bit, mainly his burst, his agility and his speed were affected.  His heart and how he finished runs was still great, but his physical tools fell off a cliff.  You'd know that if you actually watched the games, not the highlights.

As for the original topic.  Blackmon isn't on the roster so this garbage post should be moved to the NFL at large or the Sideline.  Using the great start that Bortles showed to create a thread to focus on a lame agenda of a player that isn't on the roster and more than likely won't be is so lame.  Blackmon has issues, and he's likely done.

You classify anything that isn't what you want to hear re: Jags as "trolling".

Your definition of "trolling" is laughable.

You want to know what a real troll is? Its the poster "Jungle Cat" and what he posts. Thats clearly posting bashes for responses.

I don't do that. I believe everything I post. And furthermore, so much of stuff that I have been so called negative about has later been proven correct. So you and the few other whiners like you are simply adverse to hearing certain stuff I say. The only way to make you guys happy is to be pro Jags 24/ 7. Well thats never going to happen. Not by me and not by anyone that has a functioning brain and ounce of objectivity.

I have been pro Jags with so much stuff since the draft its ridiculous, yet its still not good enough for people like you.

You want everyone to be a cheerleader/ shill.

Are you kidding? TMD watches game tape of every college and pro football game. He even scouts the CFL in his free time.

If it was all "Mojo's declining skills last year" as the result of the 3.4 YPC then I guess we'll see a similar number YPC for him for this year. Otherwise, if his number rebounds to 4 or more then it looks like last year wasn't all simply the product of his decline as I am asserting that it might not be.

I've not said that Mojo isn't a declining player, nor that there wasn't significant evidence of that last season. I just think the degree of it was exaggerated last season due to other factors such as garbage run blocking.

As for your comment on Blackmon.....he is still Jaguars property so any comments about Justin belong right here.

I'll be cheering him on knowing full well I supported him throughout this entire time, when he is reinstated in 2015.

I agree with pretty much all of this. What makes you a target is the arrogant way you go about your business.

I do notice other posters attacking you when you give a reasonable take. Sometimes it's because they can't take off their homer glasses, and others, well...sometimes it's fun to rattle the monkey cage.

Speaking of Jungle Cat, I wonder what he thinks of Biff Bortles now lol.

It's the cool thing to do, follow the masses and pile on, there aren't a lot of leaders on this board, plain and simple.
He watched through beer goggles. He probably thinks they still need him... sad....

They do still need him.  That's irrelevant if he's unable to clean up his act and get reinstated.

lol if he came back today he'd be #1 on the depth chart.
For all intents and purposes, Blackmon is done and we should all move on. Not only has he turned his back on the team and fans, but he doesn't seem to care at all or realize the opportunities he has squandered. If he gets his act together and comes back, he would be one in a million. As Jaguars fans, we should know better. We've seen this movie more times than just about any other fan base, and we know how it ends.

Would it be nice if he came back? Yes. Absolutely. But I'm not holding my breath for another troubled wideout when there are far brighter things to look forward to.
