That will probably be the last NFL job Chip Kelly holds.
It definitely should be. Yet, the personnel decisions by the franchise are an even greater issue.

Chip really did nothing wrong and deserves another fair shot. Hes a garbage GM, but as a coach he's definitely not so bad that he should just be out of a job.
The 9ers roster is horrendous but its not like they were undisciplined. They bought what chip was selling, there was just no talent to actually execute it properly. If chip doesnt go back to college i hope he finds a stable opening with a good gm already in place.

It's almost hard to believe the 49ers were very close to getting to the Super Bowl 3 seasons ago.
I can't think of a NFL team that declined as much as the 49ers did in recent years, when factoring in all of the draft picks they had to build on their roster. The mistake to get rid of Jim Harbaugh is one they could pay for not only the rest of this decade but much longer.
The closest thing to the 49ers decline is when the LA Rams declined in the early 1990's and ultimately moved to St. Louis. The Rams wasted the draft choices riches from the Eric Dickerson trade.

After a likely 2-14 season, with the only wins coming against a Rams team that has many issues of their own, it's hard to envision Chip Kelly ever getting another NFL HC opportunity. College Football certainly appears to be his best option.

Absolutely. What a difference now compared how the 49ers were run in the 1980's and 1990's.

He had winning teams in philly when he actually had some semblance of talent, and is well respected in the league. I dont believe any owner/GM with a brain would discredit his abilities for not being able to churn out wins with the 9ers roster. Hes made it clear a couple times hes not really interested in college, at worst i think he gets an OC job first to put some consistency in his resume together but I think hell get another shot sooner or later.

In addition to the 49ers likely losing 3 more games this season than their less than stellar 5-11 season in 2015, one thing that I think will hurt Chip Kelly's chances of even being an NFL Offensive Coordinator is the Defense is on the field too long with his hurry up Offense approach. It took it's toll on the Eagles.

The only one I can think of is the Bucs post 2002. They gutted that team after the Super Bowl, have only made the playoffs twice since (last time 2007) and have been a bottom feeder until this year.

The post 2002 Raiders come to mind as well. The 2016 season is their first winning season and playoff season since the 2002 season.

Time of possession matters, but it's certainly not as significant as youre making it seem, and not enough to cost him a job. His offenses are extremely efficient, I highly doubt anyone is going to pass on that because their defenses might be on the field a bit too long.
His offense is ranked 24th in DVOA, Carlos Hyde is about to hit 1000 yards and didnt play a full season behind a bad oline and no passing attack to speak of. Theres no way Chip doesnt get a job somewhere if he wants it, if he didnt it would be a travesty and serious mistake on the part of anyone who passed on the opportunity to hire him.

W/o knowing who the next Jaguars HC and OC will be, if you could have Chip Kelly in either role ( your choice ), would you want the Jaguars to hire him in 2017?

Based on Chip Kelly coming to Jacksonville in either role, what are one or more of the realistic personnel moves you would like the Jaguars to make?
Though w/o saying we have a different opinion of Chip Kelly in the NFL, it's interesting to get different takes.

Baalke is in the category of Gene Smith. He ran away Harbaugh, who was becoming one of the best coaches in the league, then proceeded to dismantle the roster and give Chip [BLEEP] to work with. I don't feel like Chip got a fair shake but he's most likely headed back to the college ranks.

I actually think Blake could work well in Chip Kelly's style of offense.
It's an offense that relies on an uptempo pace and quick reads. Blake tends to fair better when we actually push the tempo on offense and get a defense on their heels. We've seen how our offense has flows better when we enter our two minute drill since Blake has been starting here. Blake also has had some struggles in reading defenses and predetermining where he's going with the ball which has partially led to his large amount of turnovers. An offense predicated on fewer, quicker reads while getting the ball out fast can minimize the chance for turnovers. Not to mention that Blake's athleticism fits what Chip Kelly likes in a quarterback.
Anyways, until Blake tightens up his release, realistically he's not going to be operating well in any offense.

Outside of him, Tyrod and AJ Mccarron would be the only other two qbs id try for.

That would never happen under the guy with the hoodies watch. Not to mention the guys in Philly lost respect for Chip. Its very possible that has happen in SF as well
