On offense we need a new guard or two and a new RT. Most importantly a new QB, this franchise will never be great with Bortles, believe me. He can't read a defense and can't even throw a football.

On defense we are pretty set, we could use another pass rusher for sure. FS can be upgraded, Gipson isn't all that great plus he is a whiner. Most of all we need a new SS, preferably one that can cover and tackle, Cyprien is tr@sh and can't do either.
Something to keep in mind when making roster predictions are contracts/salaries...

Some guys aren't going ANYWHERE due to their 2017 cap hit for being released costing more than it would to keep them. NFL teams don't normally cut guys with those type contracts unless they've done something detrimental to the team off the field...

This would apply to:

Blake Bortles

Chris Ivory

Allen Hurns

Dante Fowler

Malik Jackson

Miles Jack

Jalen Ramsey

Tashaun Gipson

Barring something crazy, these guys will be on the roster in 2017..

On the other hand, the Jags could SAVE 1 million or more by cutting these players prior to next season:

Chad Henne

Julius Thomas

Marcedes Lewis

Kelvin Beachum

Jeremy Parnell

Jared Odrick

SenDerrick Marks

Roy Miller

Paul Pozluszny

Dan Skuta

Davon House

Brad Nortman

I would expect most if not all of these players to either do restructured contracts or be released. Beachum, Poz, and Nortman may be exceptions as their salary cap numbers are still in line to be good deals for 2017 even under current contract.

Just taking your little list here. I am glad I don't have to make this decisions

Restricted
Peyton Thompson - Match low offer
Tyler Shatley - Don't match offer
Josh Wells - Match offers

Unrestricted
Luke Joekel - bye
Jonathan Cyprien - resign
Abry Jones - bye
Bryan Walters - resign
Denard Robinson - bye
Arrelious Benn - resign for WR6
Prince Amukamara - resign
Tyson Alualu - this one is hard. He has actually improved every year. I say resign if the price is right
Patrick Omameh - resign

They should absolutely resign Abry.

Chad Henne - cut

Marcedes Lewis - keep (he blocks well and brings some veteran stability to a young offense)

Yeah they probably have to judging by the roster. That would leave 0 depth with him gone. Plus SanDerrick would then be the starter.
UFA keepers:

Jones

Benn

Walters

Amukamara

Omameh

The restricted guys should be easy to keep till camp cuts, and the cuts of players still under contract will probably be minimal. House is definitely in jeopardy of not making it to camp though.
