Quote:The 'resistance' will crumble after this game. Start'em week one. Enough of Henne.
I'm in the "sit him until they want" camp but I'm finding it real hard after seeing him in action.

I'd need to see him play against/with the first teamers first though.

LOL... I'm not excluding myself, either.

But let's not forget, Bortles hasn't taken a single snap with the #1s since being drafted.

Not one.

If that changes, then we can consider that raising the Bat-signal.
No pass rush.

...and what exactly, does that make you?
The scrubs are real.

Sad we let them have a TD, Again i know its Preseason but still!

Quote:Henne just talked on the radio. NO THANKS.

What did he have to say?

How well Blake looked out there and how Blake was lucky not to have 2 snaps go over his head?
Gabbert in his first preseason game for the record:

9/16 for 85 yards 0 TD 0 INT

Quote:

Blaine Gabbert had an inconsistent NFL debut and his Jacksonville Jaguars teammates didn't do any better as the New England Patriots won 47-12 in an exhibition opener on Thursday night.

<p style="color:rgb(88,88,88);font-family:arial, sans-serif;font-size:11px;">Playing against mostly backups as top players for both teams sat out the game, the Jaguars scored three field goals on Gabbert's six possessions. The 10th pick of the draft from Missouri completed nine of 16 passes for 85 yards. He played the entire first half with starting quarterback David Garrard unavailable with a back injury.

I agree, his accuracy is what amazes me. He just needs the better receivers to really thrive imo.

Glennon working to earn his job back.
what has Mark Lamping been smoking. Sam k is just god awful and Mark B is not doing much better

That is better than what that clown did in several real games.
Stanzi time

What's wrong with that?

with you on that, Im not enjoying the broadcast team at all. But again Im happy that i have the option to see the Jags play.
Quote:Gabbert actually didn't look that bad in his debut. In fact it was probably one of his top 5 games as a pro.
I was in the stands for his first pre-season game in NE. Still remember his first pass, complete to Jason Hill. That was pretty much as good as it got that night.

Then he has gotten much worse b/c his stats from Thurs' night were horrible.
Good grief...Bowanko is a joke.

Gabbert was a pretty boy. Look at Bortles. He has the look of a tough guy. Just sayin.
