I must say I really didn't expect the flack. The bottomline is that on many of the songs played, on the CDs they are from, you may have found rating labels which would probably clue-in a reasonable person that some of the music would have been inappropriate for the WHOLE crowd in attendance. But like I said earlier, it is a shame that as a society we are ambivalent to the lyrics and at the worst, see nothing wrong with some of the music being produced today.

The world is full of, and always has been, things in which you have to teach kids what you feel is right/wrong, good/bad, etc. Something that you find offensive may not offend someone else. It's our job as parents to teach your value system to kids. To try and censor everything that is going on is not only unreasonable, but impossible.

Something to keep in mind is that Bradley isn't playing the music for the fans, he's playing it for the players. He's made a couple different comments on this.

Just a guess here. The DJ playing the music did not upload the songs from a CD.

As I (and others) have mentioned, the team has played music at practices since Bradley got here last year. At no point, have I heard one explicit lyric during any practice session. Sorry if I have a hard time believing you.
It sounds more likely that you personally do not like rap music. It doesn't fit in with your "demographic" in St Johns County.
