I love Gus Bradley
Does this team have a scrimmage against another team planned?
Question:  Is the D bringing the swagger back?  The reason I ask is because that used to be the identity of the Jags w/ Stroud and Henderson.  When Del Rio came here, he didn't want personalities to be bigger then him so he tamed all of that down (even shipping Mike Pete over to Atlanta).   I'm really hoping we get that energy back on D which I think is the intent of Dave & Gus.

Say what? That's a brand new Del Rio complaint. Peterson was with Del Rio for six years.

That's nowhere near a brand new Del Rio complaint.

When he came here he didn't want any 'personalities bigger than him'? Okee-dokee.

Peterson was not outspoken upon arrival.  In fact, he evolved into the outspoken leader.   Del Rio's authoritative personality (aka Mr. Cool in my new Suit) totally eliminated any swagger our D had.   You could say he took the capital D out of DDDDDDDDDDDDDDuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Well I wouldn't say it but feel free.
Was at our 3rd practice today (including the scrimmage).  Have to say this organization has done a great job allowing the fans get up close and see the team.  The players have been great as well, taking their time to sign and chat with the fans. * Lee looked great today, making a few nice catches and ran nice routes.  Been watching a lot of Marcedes Lewis.  New to following the Jags, what's the deal with him?  I have read because of a poor O line, he has been used primarily as a blocking tight end the past few years.  I have to say, he looks like a pretty bad a$$ player.  Good hands, good blocker..good size, etc.  I know he was a pro bowler a few years ago and had 10 TD's.  I can see him being a real red zone threat.  Hoping they using him in the passing game more this season.  Just my 1st take on him after watching him the past few weeks.  Not to mention a real nice guy....  Def. a fan.

Ahh ok.  Of course it's "practice", but would never have known.  Just looks smooth catching the ball. Always been an issue?

Yeah, seeing Marcedes up close really makes you say "wow".... he's a very impressive looking player.

He's able to be a dominant TE in the red-zone, hopefully Jedd and the QBs make an effort to actively feed him the ball as much as possible.

Thanks.  Been on a crash course on this team that past couple of months.  I am used to knowing the in and outs of players of my team,  & reading in this forum has helped "learning about the Jags". Thanks

Yes sir.  Been in a Florida a few years now, usually travel to see my Cowboys.  Never had bad blood for the Jags..in fact liked a few players over the years, J. Smith, F. Taylor.  Moved to Florida a few years ago, not too far from Jax and like the direction of the team.  Became a season ticket holder this year.  Love football and look forward to being close to a team I am following.
