I might get one sooner, or later. If I used it just for sports games from Madden to nba, baseball, hockey, and wwe2k would it fill up the hard drive fast? please let me know.  It will probbley be later I get one cause right now, im trying to get back to Alaska in 2015 for the Iditarod with my dad. I'm just trying to get as much info on the ps4 as I can right now. I have pictures from last year, but I can't get them posted here. I would love to share a few here.

I'd wait a few more months until a price drop or at least more games are released.

You really seem to like Alaska.  Do you like the cold weather?  I could deal with it for a little while but putting on all that clothing just to go outside got tiresome after a while. The state is magnificent, though.

It's worth the buy. But wait it out a little longer, probably give it until around Thanksgiving and Christmas time. Prices should be dropped or deals should come out. Your hard drive will be fine. These things are built now with so much capacity it's a non-issue. I bought mine at the beginning of the year and the overall library of games right now is just slim pickings. But I like mostly Madden and RPGs or Action/Adventure RPGs. I have been playing Watch_Dogs mostly at the moment. Pre-ordered Madden 15 and Diablo III for August though.

One last thing, like cars, I recommend that you NEVER buy these next generation consoles NEW. The quality of the discs that are produced now and with how quick it is to search anything on Ebay or Amazon. I say go console hunting for your PS4 and add-ons through that method. I bought my PS4 off of Ebay, along with an extra controller, Madden 25, Call Of Duty: GHOST, and Assassin's Creed: Black Sails and only shelled out about $600 with shipping included. When you factor in the general store prices for the Console, the additional controller, and three games. I would have ended up shelling out roughly $660 or more for all of that brand new. When you think about it, I saved $60, which is enough to buy another game or controller if need be.

Isn't the PS4 like the PS3, in that it utilizes a standard HDD like in any PC build? I never needed to with mine but know plenty of people that plugged in high TB drives straight in their's.
I have another question about the ps4 we'll 2 in fact.  do they have system updates were you have to be hooked up to internet, and is it free?  Also on Madden games does sony charge you for the roaster updates as well to play against other people online,or do they just charge you to play people online?

This should answer most of your questions about the PS4.

I've really enjoyed War Thunder.  It's an air combat multiplayer that is free to play on PS4 and PC.

Battlefield 4 is also pretty fun.

You have to be hooked up to the internet to get the updates, yes, but they don't cost anything.  You have to have PS+ to play multiplayer online.
Remember the Xbox One is down to $399 now too.  Good luck and enjoy your new console.

I have both systems, and IMO the PS4 gives you more for your money.

The PS4 controllers are rechargeable.  The Xbox One controllers still require you to buy a separate battery pack or else you have to use AA batteries.

The PS4 controller allows you to plug in any kind of headphones.  The Xbox requires headsets made specifically for that system.

PS+ is cheaper than Xbox live.

PS4 has slightly better internal hardware.

The only thing Xbox has on the PS4 is the HDMI pass-through.  It allows you to use voice commands to watch tv, but doing all of that requires Kinect, which does not come with the $399 version.  You would have to buy the $499 version to enjoy any of those features.  And btw, the voice commands often don't work correctly.  It can get quite annoying to say, "Xbox watch ESPN" and then it turns to PBS.

I got the ps4 today, you can hook it up to hdmi 2,3,or 4 right or does it have to be the main hdmi?

I assume you mean on the tv?  It doesn't matter which one you plug into, but it will effect what hdmi channel it tunes in to.  This can be important if you customize the inputs for each, but other than that it doesn't matter.
ok thank you for your help

I got the ps4 so I could play games again like Madden,WWE2k,nba 2k,baseball,im sure someday ill find an action game on ps4 I might like. I don't really like the war games like call of duty,or anything like that. Plus I neeed to get use to a new system,  according to my dad Nintendo is going out of busnuies. if my dad knows anything he knows about busnuies companys, and all that.

I probbley won't have a game until Madden comes out this Tuesday. You can set up ps4,and internet settings, and all without a game right?
