It looks like the Cavs are going to end up moving #1 as I think Embiid is really their guy and now they can get a massive haul and still end up with him. So far their reported offers:
Orlando sends #4 #12 and Aaron Afflalo to Cavs for #1
Philly sends Thad Young and #3 to Cavs for #1
Utah sends Derrick Favors and #5 to Cavs for #1
If I'm Cleveland I take Orlando's offer and run as quickly as I can. Favors is an attractive option, but Embiid won't fall to 5.

Wonder who Orlando is targeting? Wiggins or Parker? I'd imagine it is Wiggins as Tobias Harris has a similar skill set to Parker.
If Cleveland passes on Wiggins, they are dumb. Would love to see Wiggins go to Orlando though. Pair him with Oladipo.

The only trade on there that would guarantee them Embiid is with Philly.

How? Bucks will take Parker/Wiggins and the Sixers aren't going to take Embiid with having Noel already

I'd light myself on fore if the Magic took Saric

Not I, as a Magic fan I'd be just fine with that at that slot.

You do realize it will be at least two years before he comes over, if at all? Remember Fran Vasquez?

Why not? The Pistons took Andre Drummond when they already had Greg Monroe.
Noel can play the 4.
I could also see Philly taking Embiid and trading him like New Orleans did last year with Noel.

I do remember Vasquez, that sucked, and do not want that situation again.
I could see Chicago (if they keep their two mid-first rounder), using one on Saric. Overseas players are always a risk. But look at Tiago Splitter. The Spurs took him in the first. He played in Spain for two years. Now he is a key cog in their championship machine.

Yup, but the Magic aren't in that boat right now. Spurs could afford it.

Then why would you want Saric?

I love what he offers at the size he is. He could be big time. He's probably a top 5 guy that will fall because of whats surrounding him. I don't think the Magic will pull the trigger but if they do I would hope they could lure him over with in some way monetarily more then anything else.

I guess I would too now that I just found out he just signed a 2 year contract with an option to stay for an addtional year (with his Turkish team). I don't have that much patience to wait 2+ years on a player that may never come to the NBA. I'm sure if he just signed the contract, he has NO intention on playing here for a few years at minimum.

Yeah, pretty clear he was using the NBA to leverage negotiations with his team in Turkey. Also the Cavs are trying to bing in Exum for a meeting today
http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2014/story/_...um-meeting that screams to me that they are going to be moving the pick somewhere

Wow ... that would be depressing for Cavs fans. That means Kyrie is leaving after next year and there is no way Lebron would go to the Cavs w/out Kyrie's commitment; substituing Kyrie for an 18 year old kid is definitely starting over.

Read that too, wasn't aware of that
