What do you all think about moving Tsmith to fs he has the size and covering skills? Also, we know that he can hit. Josh is hurt and has had problems remembering the play book, caught out of position. .. just a thought
Like I said, he should be playing in the box near the LOS.  If anything, you move Cyprien to deep safety and play Telvin as a strong safety.

Badger, I think will work. . That way we would have two head hunters for safeties. . Good suggestion
If we get the pass rush that suppose to, than this would be ideal
Smith has the frame to put on 10-15 pounds. He has a similar body structure to Malcolm Smith.

Did anyone see how small Tsmith was when he was signing his contract. .?
No.
Its on jaguars.com [the video of tsmith signing]
TS is going to be a really good player on defense for this team. If he can add a little bit of bulk to his frame, I think he can transition from good to elite.
I would rather draft a player in 2015 who has significant experience at the FS position.

Ideally, this player should be more of a rangy, single-high, deep-coverage FS - with solid tackling abilities (anything better would be icing on the cake).

Its know doubt that he will be good. I honestly think that he will develop into a pro bowl player

just because someone has the size to play a position doesnt mean they should. the team drafted him for a specific role. theyre not gonna force him into other spots.

also its laughable that some people are writing off a 5th? round free safety after his rookie season. give the guy a chance if he doesnt show improvement, the position will be addressed next offseason.
He just needs to go to Whattaburger everyday and gain some weight.

Don't go moving Telvin just yet. Give him a chance to play his natural position. He is similar in size and speed to Derrick Brooks when he came out of college. If he could get anywhere close to that level of play, you leave him where he is.
The college LB to S move has been done successfully a few times.

The two that leap to mind are:

Carnell Lake, who played OLB at UCLA before moving to S with the Steelers.

Darren Woodson made the move from Arizona St LB to S with Dallas.

But both played SS, not FS.

Conceptually it's possible, but if Smith were to make the move, most likely it would be to SS.

To me that would be a waste, considering Cyprien is already back there.

Keep him at LB.  He already understands the position.  It's just a matter of him putting on weight and getting stronger, as opposed to learning an entirely new position.

Its not laughable that some keep suggesting he move to "Safety" at some point....

But to suggest he move to Free Safety, thats the part thats laughable. Its as if some of these people have never followed NFL football in their life.

Telvin could possibly play Cyprien's position, but then we still have no FS (as Cyrpien cannot play FS adequately), so thats a stupid idea.

Agree and Coach Bradley has compared Telvins situation to Derek Brooks coming out of college to Bucs when Coach Bradley was Bucs lb coach.

most defenses in the NFL today dont even have actual FS and SS, its just considered 2 safeties. understandably in the defense we run here, one safety is still asked to play close to the line a lot so being stronger and better in run support is good. but the traditional FS and SS set up is really a thing of the past. it is laughable. lets move bortles to DE. he has the body and size to do it, so we should do it right? no. let the players play their positions and let the coaches and front office decide if a player should be written off.
FS is likely to be Evans or Guy.

Telvin simply isn't a factor, as he's what they're looking for at LB.

Keep an eye on Guy.  He could earn the starting job.

Agreed.  Let he players play the positions they are here to play.  Let's not try to force someone to play out of position from what they're comfortable with.
