I now seem to tend to agree with more of his opinions than I dont...surprisingly.
If you go against the Alfie/BCC group think though, you are in for a war.

Same... it was something dumb, and next thing you know... BLOCKED! Forgot about it... and here we are like 2 years later and I read his site regulaly... but still blocked.

He blocked a buddy of mine who is a Jax native and a Jag fan from inception. He moved to CT a few years back when he got married, and he's stranded in Patriots/Jets/GIants territory, so he loves any outlet where he can get Jag information. Even from Alfie. He questioned something Alfie said on Twitter, and suddenly he was under assault from all Alfie's buddies on there. They pounced on him and just trashed the guy. When he didn't back down, Alfie just blocked him instead of responding to the question.
This guy knew I occasionally had contact with Alfie. He explained the situation and asked if I'd intervene on his behalf because he really wasn't trying to step on any toes. He had a legitimate question about Alfie. I sent him a message, and he never responded, but a few days later, my friend was unblocked.
I've been the victim of Alfie's fluffers on Twitter. They've come after me with a vengeance. It might bother me more if I actually spent any real time on there, but it had to be pointed out by someone else before I even realized what was going on. By then, it was almost comical.

Say what you will about Alfie and his personality, but I enjoy his perspective on the Jags. BCC has been a fixture in my RSS feed and bookmarks for years.

A very scary sentence.

As someone else pointed out, Alfie knows his business so his thin skin and confrontational tendencies are tolerable. What I don't get is his legion of jockstrap sniffers. Are they reacting out of fear of becoming a target of his derision? Seems a little odd.

Alfie knows his business? If he knew his business a little better, he wouldn't get as much of the flak that he does. Case in point, how he rushed to be the first to report that the "Jags will sign Christian Jones". Then he got mad when people gave him static when he had to retract his information.

Maybe they're all family members, or twitter handles he's created himself? It wouldn't be the first time someone created imaginary friends to help him out.

I think most are just drinking buddies and they don't know much about football. They just take whatever he says as gospel.
He's got most of them thinking Andre Branch could be cut anyday but Alualu is some intregal part of the team.

This. Seems like he tries to form his speculation into fact. Before the FA he kept saying the Jags would go after Michael Johnson and then it turns out he even wasn't really on their radar. You also had all them believing Teddy would go top 3 even on draft day.

Now that's funny.
They got into some kind of twitter feud. Even though I follow them both, I couldn't tell what it was about
