Quote:Wait...? Quarterbacks are allowed to do that?

I know. I had to check the rule book, but I think its legal.
It's amazing what fresh blood does to re-energize a fanbase.

Thank you, Shad... for hiring competent Dave Caldwell.  And thanks, Dave, for hiring the superstar in the making Gus Bradley.

Bortles is the man!

I'm not saying I wish he would have been, but can you imagine if Manziel would have been the pick at #3.

I imagine the crowd would be almost double if they allowed it.

EDIT:  This was posted before I saw the crowd was 6,214 today.  Still think there might be a couple thousand more to see Manziel.

I'm so glad they got Bortles two really good WR's though.  They are working on making the team into what excites fans now days.

It's early, early, early I have to keep reminding myself but so excited about everything I'm hearing!
Here's Telvin Smith's near pick:

@ESPNdirocco: The #Jaguars have signed workout rookies RB Beau Blankenship and S Jerome Junior and waived P Chad Zinchini and K Jeff Budzien
I was really pleased with the little press conference BB did.  The one thing I was afraid of was big, and dumb.  Not the case at all.

What goes on between the earholes is 90% of the game.  This kid's got it in spades.

I just can't believe it, we have a Quarterback...  AND a coach...  AND a GM....    AND the BEST owner in Football...   YEEAHH BABY !!

Which coach is that at the end of the play that tries to hip-bump with Smith and gets knocked backwards?

I hadn't really paid much attention to Bortles before the draft thinking we wouldn't get him and that was my impression too initially. Big, immoble, kinda dumb. Jonathan Quinn V2.0. You can already tell that is not even remotely close.

As cool as that was for Telvin, the hell was Bortles thinking?

I feel ya.. Wait till training camp. Ima predict between 8 to 10 thousand. They had to open the back practice fields for fans. When TC comes we might have to move in the stadium lol.

I like Blankenship.. Homeboy is quick. I noticed him yesterday. Glad he got signed.

He did look good on Friday.  He's similar in size to Danny Woodhead.  If we can get him to do similar things, that would be nice.

lol
Watching the day two video now. Man, Dave Caldwell is awesome.

It was cool seeing Shorts hang out in the family tent and just watch the rookies.

If Gabbert had only known

Had to move away from Deltona, Fl 3 years ago after having season tix for 6 years. I really wish I was there now because this rebuild feels very special. You don't realize what you have till it's gone and I miss going to the games sooooo much. All you jags fans in Fl should make every attempt at going to the games because this is a historical time for the franchise. We'll look back in 10 years and say this was the turning point worst in the league to the best. OK Jags fan for life!!!!!!!!!
