The Jags don't have 3 terrific runners to etch onto the depth chart in stone, so he has a chance. However, there have been a lot of great running college QBs who have attempted to convert to fulltime NFL RB over the decades, but the list who have successfully accomplished it is extremely short. Guys can look pretty elusive and dynamic as option QBs in college when defenders are having to respect the pitch man in the option or the the threat to throw. When you take those threats away from them and defenders can just focus in on them as runners, they get fairly ordinary fairly fast.

I think Robinson's roster spot is safe this year. He was Dave's favorite pet project from last years draft, and it was known that he was going to need a lot of developing. He also looks good with the extra bulk he put on too. He showed several explosive flashes last year. If he can just fix the ball security issues he will be a nice player.

Agreed. They'll find a place for him in the offense.

Quote:For anybody that was out there yesterday, I think this goes without saying. The buzz is real. I have been to dozens of camp sessions since they opened the new practice fields ten years ago or so. I have never seen anything close to what we saw yesterday. It was awesome. People are genuinely excited about the direction of the franchise.
There was a couple of ladies who were former STH'ers I chatted with yesterday who moved up to Waycross are now considering getting tickets again.
They only came to the Rook Camp because they were visiting family and was turned on again by the fan passion.
