It was listed in the Forbes top 10 cities for finding a job, with the Healthcare field listed as a top option, so you should be pretty solid.

funny thing (well not really funny) is that I moved back in with my mother. I am hoping that dosent last too long but it sure beats trying to pay back a ton of school loans plus rent.

Well I doubt this goes into action but there is a petition in Jax Beach to make a small strip "nude-friendly" - so this might be enticing to you.
I doubt it will be what you think it should be - but hey, you never know...
Also, what kind of research do you take part in? I do some bio-medical research here in Jacksonville and I have been to some national conferences to present for. Last year, I was at New Orleans and the year before that I was in San Francisco - also went down to UF for a statewide conference.
