Man Khan and Caldwell have to be kicking themselves for not canning Bradley earlier.

Quote:While this was an exciting win, perhaps it would behoove everyone to remember Dan Campbell.

Interim head coach boosts are very common, and often burn out just as fast as they ignite.

Unfortunately with the timing of Gus' firing we won't know if this is legit or just another one of those examples.

If only Marrone had been made interim coach after the first Titans game and we could know for sure...

I agree.

Nevertheless, it gives us a glimpse of what this team can do collectively when they play well for 4 quarters and don't go out there and shoot themselves in the foot week in and week out.

Marrone just showed that our team cam bear a quality team. No the tacks aren't great but they're a good squad. He said it himself...he wanted to get the team to play closer to its potential. In the hat regard, I think he succeeded.
Quote:I thought it was Caldwell AND Gus?

If Caldwell was in favor in anyway of keeping Gus as long as we did then yes he IS part of the problem.  That can all be smoothed over if they make the right choice for the next HC.

Gus should never have been the HC here this year.
Accountability. Nothing else changed with the staff, players, or scheme.

In 62 tries Gus never beat a team with a winning record. Doug Marone does it in his first appearance as the HC. Easy call here.
I am very encourged.  Lots of talent on the team.  One more draft and FA and we will be knocking on the door.  Go Jaguars! Smile

It was gus all along.....he just isn't HC material.

We have players.....that now can grow and get better.

Quote:I thought we knew Gus was the main problem?
Bortles is the main problem but as it showed....IF the QB plays well, we win.  Nothing to see here but i guess fans are gonna fan

Not so sure. The offense showed alot of new wrinkles with their route combinations on offense. Defensively i noticed alot more man coverage and less bad matchups (LB vs WR etc).

There was an emotional and discipline boost for sure but schematically things were different too.

Trust me when i say this.  Receivers don't perfect new routes in 2 days to beat defenses.  Its the same playbook but i don't want to be a debbie downer to the kids.  Enjoy whatever feelings are to be enjoyed today.

Agreed. It's the same scheme the players just executing.

Don't say that too loud.  The "fans" may attack your common sense.

Same playbook all right..

I've probably seen Lee throw that pass to Bortles a half dozen times this season.

So a trick play is your reasoning for success.  Enough said.
might be same playbook.....but it was properly used today

Not what I said at all but nice try.

i said they ran the same playbook just added A FEW changes.  You said you never saw the pass from Lee to Bortles.  What else are you saying sir?  I'm confused

Dude, you've lost the argument. Give up.
It's not about the playbook, it's about how it's used, and it was used more effectively today plus the team all around looked vastly more prepared to play the team in front of them than we've seen all year.
