So supposedly, a homeless guy told Haslam to draft Manziel, Haslam then ordered the GM to draft Manziel instead of the GM's preferred Bridgewater, and now the owner is telling Manziel that he will be the backup, period.

 

Yeah, this guy is totally worth the trouble as an NFL quarterback.

I just don't understand them not getting him weapons, either.

Gordon had one good season and he might be going to the Blackmon list and Burleson had played 1 full season in 7 years.

They're going to cry for him to play when Hoyer got 1-3 then he'll get shredded.

They should have listened to the GM and drafted Teddy. Haslam will be forced to learn the hard way.

No he won't. He'll just fire Farmer and Pettine after the 2015 season because they failed to draft, develop and maximize the talent available to them.

  If former Browns HOF Coach Paul Brown was alive today,  it's easy to picture what he would be thinking about the ongoing mess in Cleveland.   I'm 99.99999 % sure Paul Brown never would have wanted to coach a QB as undisciplined as Johnny Manziel.   

Brown would've told Haslam to shut the hell up and get the hell out of his war room.

After the Browns made yet another coaching change,  there was a post on another MB board that said something along the lines of the late Mr. Modell saying: " Miss me yet?". 

Lol didn't we essentially do the same thing with bortles?

thats a pretty bold statement for haslam to make this early. i could see him saying that if hoyer was guaranteed to be healthy. 

 

but who is manziel going to be the backup qb for? vince "would you like fries with that?" young? or tyler "i didnt even know i was still in the league" thigpen?

 

cleveland is a trainwreck and it looks like the circus is in town now too.
