simple rules...but more of the fact that they were not being enforced. Little things count. If you don't hold players accountable for the small things, you have zero shot of fostering a culture of discipline and accountability. We saw the results on game days
Wow. Actual info from a head coach.

Loved this: "I can't remember what the halftime message was last week..."

Lol
I believe we're now looking at our new HC.

And so far he deserves it.

Coaching decisions imho are more like they should be for the first time In 4 years
Jaguars first lead in the first half this year! Jags lead 19-7 at halftime!  Go Get 'um Jaguars!!!!!    Wink   Smile  B)   ^_^

Haha my wife just told me it is nice to see football again. 10 out of 10 people agree this is all we wanted to see for the past 4 wasted years.

Mularkey to ref at half time: "This is the Jaguars. You're supposed to job them so WE can win. I'm calling Goodell."

Quote:Bortles stats for the first half:

23 pass attempts.

18 pass completions.

217 yards.

1 touchdown.

120.5 QB rating.

Except for that palm down fumble he's looked pretty good.
Marrone actually addresses the problems during the interview. It feels good to have a coach that I know sees the problem. I don't know if he can fix it yet, but I don't remember Bradley ever saying anything other than stereotypical coach-talk.

Just that he's changed some rules and enforcing others. Being slack in team meetings for one. No more hoodies and eating food during meetings. Making team leaders hold people accountable.
I'm liking Marrone so far. He's been on top of the TOs not letting the usual few seconds tick off first, and before going in for halftime he talked of making the proper adjustments and making sure the players understand those adjustments.

Is this the national game for this time slot? If so, finally looking good on national TV!

Pretty sure we were leading against Indy

And Houston last week
As good a first half job as Marrone did, he won't be the HC next year.

Which is totally fine.

Even the bot seems to be functioning better, now.

We led 17-6 against the clots and 7-6 against the Bills and 13-5 against the tinhorns.

Pretty sure we led first half just last week.
BUT BUT GUYS... WHAT GOOD COMES FROM FIRING OUR HEAD COACH BEFORE THE SEASON IS OVER!!!!

bunch of idiots thinking like our idiot owner cost this team its season. Its amazing how simply firing a cancerous clueless head coach can change a team

Not really though.

He's definitely at a disadvantage. Given a couple more games I think he would be HC next year.

It got the score correct.

Improvement. Lol.
