Dude was a in your face Safety in college. If you saw games against Alabama and Auburn he was all over the place making tackles.Passing offenses he was a liability.
Really good pickup though. If he can play special teams he is on the final roster.
His timed speed kind of scares me. I wonder why he did not run the forty at LSU's pro day?
Same timed speed as Cyprien. Loston ran a 4.65 at the combine and Cyprien ran a 4.64 at his pro day. One could even make the case that Loston is slightly faster. Either way, a 4.6 is a solid time for a strong safety.
Loston seems like a steal as an UDFA. Interested in seeing him during the preseason.
I think he competes with Winston Guy for the swing safety position.
