Quote:If you guys really think I'm trolling, I would hate to see how you guys deal with a real troll...

How embarrassing.

CW isn't a troll he is just a deluded homer
Quote:I don't think it's debatable that Indy had the worst draft in the division. The lack of a first rounder solidifies it. That said, they are the only team in the division with a proven QB and I liked some of their offseason moves. They will likely win the division again, so hate all you want. I wasn't as thrilled with Tennessee's draft as others were. Houston had a solid draft, but Savage is a wild card. Lots of potential, but can he put it all together? That said, here are my grades:

Indy: I

Jax: I

Houston: I

Tennessee: I

They all gotta show it on Sundays. You can't grade drafts for at least 2 years. Which is why we know without question how many Fs the Jags had in the past decade.

My man! Agree with everything said. Someone logical. That's new around here.

Where have you been? I've missed you.
Quote:Hell Tom Brady wasn't even the driving force behind the Pats early SB wins.. he was a caretaker early on. They won those chips on defense and STs and while we're going to give Tom Brady all the credit for the Pats winning.. what about the job Bill O'Brien's did coaching up and going 11-5 with Matt Cassell?

That was Josh McDaniels with Cassel.

But yeah, Special Teams & defense. We'll get our QB when we get our QB. We most likely won't be winning the Super Bowl, but we've probably got enough QB to win the AFC South.
Quote:did bob mcnair call you and tell you that or bill o brien? every texan fans justifies the vikings coming up to 32 and taking teddy by saying with 100% certainty "teddy was never a target for us." ok, im sure teddy as a steal at 33 or 32 wasnt a target for you. thats why the vikings jumped the texans to get him, right?

Why didn't the Raiders jump us to take him? Why didn't the Raiders take him at #5? Why didn't the Vikings take him at #9?

Anthony Bar... Teddy Bridgewater... who would you take? Khalil Mack or JaDeveon Clowney I can understand, but Barr?

If the Vikings didn't jump us to take Teddy, the Seahawks would have probably taken Su'a-Filo & we'd have taken Garoppolo.
Texans fans....

the reason they jumped the Texans is because they thought the Texans were going to take teddy. These guys all have friends around the league and as the draft goes on, id be very hard pressed to believe they don't have insider information.

Hey Texan fan....you were rumored to almost have selected Bortles at one, so uh just stop with your denials here.

Duh, because Bortles was the #1 QB on O'Brien's board. That was obvious like a week before the draft.

No one knows who exactly the #2 guy on his list was. It may have been Teddy, but there were heavy rumors reported by the Houston Chronicle that it was Bortles #1, Garoppolo #2 and Savage #3 on his board. O'Brien kind of liked Carr but was supposedly never too high on him plus McNair reportedly didn't want to put so much weight on Derek's shoulders after what happened to his brother. So yes there are rumors that for whatever reason, the Texans didn't have Trddy very high on their boards. I think it's dumb but if O'Briens QB board is true than the proof is there.

Who the heck cares if the Vikings traded up or thought Houston was going to take him?  That doesn't mean Houston was ever interested in him, regardless of what "Minnesota thought" Rolleyes.  Look at the QBs they were interested in.. Teddy didn't fit that bill.  Throughout the entire draft process never did it ever seem like Houston was ever interested in him at all.

And what's your point?  They were interested in Bortles during the draft process.. that was well known news over a month before the draft (again not Bridgewater), but they had the #1 ovrl pick in the draft.  If they wanted Bortles here over Clowney, geuss what?  He would be here.

There was no bonified #1 franchise QB in this draft..regardless if it was a deep class, there wasn't much separation, they all have question marks. So they went with the guy who was viewed as the best player in the draft.

Blake Bortles is projected to sit just like Tom Savage is (actually some people are now thinking he might see the field).. You don't draft a guy #1 ovrl over Clowney if you don't view him as a guy that you can throw on the field day one.. not in today's league and the fact that the #1 ovrl guy taken in this QB class ins't projected to be a starter right now tells you all you need to know about this class..  again deep class, but lacking a lot of separation between rounds and a #1 ovrl ringer..  it was indeed a crap shoot like no other recent year.

I'd agree with that.

throughout the entire draft process no one thought the jaguars were gonna draft bortles either. The inner circles of NFL front offices know whats going on. everyone on the outside does not. if minny jumped houston, they did it for a reason.

-Clowney is an incredible athlete without a doubt.  However, he will be plagued with injuries throughout his career.

Should he make it through camp I don't see him playing more than 6-8 games.

-Passing on Bridgewater was a bad move.

-Will Cushing find a new estrogen blocker?
Grigson looking like he nailed another draft BTW....

Mewhort has played well.

Moncrief looks like a future star.

Newsome has probably been our most consistent pass rusher this year.

Jackson has been a stud on ST...

You want to see NAILING a draft look at Caldwell's 2014.

Grigson got some contributors, which seems pretty good... For him.

What was Caldwell's draft position compared to Grigson's?  It's easier to "nail it" when you're drafting top 3 of every round, and incrementally more difficult when you're drafting bottom third of every round.

If parity in the NFL is working, the Jaguars are SUPPOSED to have a better draft. Of course, it's up to the GMs to make this happen and have more hits than misses.

That's fine, but the Jaguars still got Telvin Smith (a home run) in the second half of the draft along with a C (Bowanko) who is looking pretty promising and Aaron Colvin, a CB that will probably be the starter next year.

That's what makes a draft a homerun. Not the guys you take early who should have an impact, but the guys you take late who have an impact or turn into studs the way Telvin Smith is.
