Good for us, yeah.
Tom Savage to Houston hahahaha

Webster to Detroit. Poo. Another guy who was a very, very intriguing prospect.

Quote:Charlie Casserly just called Colvin biggest steal today
Too soon to tell.

The various scouting reports seems to disagree.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

He was my favorite developmental prospect. The guy is an athletic freak, and I think he was who we were targeting with our first pick in the 5th.

The Houston head coach has history with Savage.

Quote:Come on now. You're better than that jagabc6893. The draft is about the FUTURE not tomorrow. If you can get top 50 talent in the 4th round I'll take it everyday. Even if we may have to wait a year to see him.
Top 50 BEFORE the injury.  A lot of guys come back 100% from ACL's now days.  But A LOt of guys don't.

All I am saying is I don't like it with the lack of talent we have on the current roster.  We are not Seattle or San Fran who can gamble on injured players that were ranked higher before they got hurt.  Like I said, hopefully the gamble pays off and I am wrong.

The ones that previously had Bridgewater first overall?

If you lack talent, you should add it. Colvin was the most talented guy there. Simple.
Anyone watching NFL Network care to explain to me what just came out of Schiano's mouth? He's talking about Tom Savage, and suddenly there are "billions of Chinese who don't care what you do" involved? I'm lost...go back to coaching, Greg. That made zero sense.

This is the same as taking Mike Sims-Walker.

How'd that work out?
People still arguing over Colvin hahahahaha our next pick is almost up. So take a break for 20-30 minutes before you start complaining again.

Given the value and the tier they were relegated to work with... I have to agree.  Though it is interesting to see McCarron still available.

Actually, for a third-round pick, not terribly. Seems like everyone has to be a Pride-level player for you to be happy with the pick.

Clueless? Maybe the influx of Chinese students hitting the college campus scene?
I definitely feel we are going OLB or LEO with our next pick

Exactly... an "I disagree" or "I hope I'm wrong" is plenty.  Get over it and move on.

We've got OLB to look forward to.

Read this morning that he supposedly bombed his combine interviews. I wouldn't think that his "I'm a first-round quarterback" chest-thumping helped his case at all.
According to Mark Long of the Associated Press, the Jaguars said they expected Colvin to start the season on the physically unable to perform list, and aren’t ruling out the possibility of him playing this year.

Yea I'm over it now. Its no use trying to explain anything to someone who has already made up his mind on the pick.
