Somehow I keep getting a bad feeling about this franchise completely botching the 3rd overall pick. Excited though, nonetheless.

Half excitement, half fear of picking Bortles.  :mellow:

I'm not sure they could botch it too bad, other than trading UP. 

 

 

 

If they stay at 3 or trade down, they should do at least ok with the chance to really do well.

Manziel reports are making me wonder if he's a decent chance, last year this same thing happened with Joeckel. Otherwise i'm thinking it's Watkins.

 

Pumped though for sure.

We need a playmaker, not a RT.

If Khan has any influence, the pick might indeed be Manziel. 

 

Lets not forget he really wanted Tebow.

I don't think he's "calling the shots"....but could be a "tiebreaker" of sorts.

I don't believe it will be Khan. I'm sure he'd most definitely support it, and even maybe say that is who he wants. No doubt in my mind this is all Caldwell though. Caldwell/Gus both like Manziel, I think that's pretty evident if you read what they say about the guy. Still not sure he's the pick, but if it is, it won't be because of Khan.

I agree. I didn't mean to imply this is a meddling situation. I just think that if its a close call between the minds, Khan would probably like to add the player like Manziel with an eye on the business side. 

 

If Caldwell is against Manziel (which I'm not privy to) then Manziel won't be here. He'll clearly have the most influence.

Will be interesting to see if this really happens. If it does, that will be two straight years of our guy we take being leaked as our guy 2 days before the draft.

...which was said to watch for by somebody posting here about a week ago (the 2 days prior thing)....

I see you've really tempered down your attitude in posts. It's nice.. I'm sure I'm not the only one that appreciates it.

I can see a team trading up to 2 and taking Mack or Watkins. I want Manziel but I feel like its gonna be Mack or Watkins.
