Go back and review the A&M - Missouri game of 2012. Heisman Trophy was on the line as KSt had just lost and opened the way for Johnny Football. He goes down with a knee injury and the whole stadium goes deathly quiet knowing this may be the end of his quest. But as he lays there being examined you can here the crowd begin to chant louder and louder, "Johnny, Johnny, Johnny, Johnny!"

He gets up to cheers, limps to the locker room to have a knee brace put on, comes out and gives the most spectacular performance I have seen in over 50 years of attending football games on all levels.

You can't make this stuff up and you will always get some unbelievable plays every game you ever see him play. He will entertain you! He will dazzle you! And most important he will play with all his heart every play of every down he is in the game.

He will regenerate this franchise like nothing any of you have ever seen. I mean how do you think A&M has come up with over $400 million to makeover Kyle Field?

It's the house that Johnny built, Pass on him and you will regret it forever.

A lot of us will fly to Jacksonville just to watch him again. He is a once every 50 years player, jukes like Barry Sanders, escapes like Fran Tarkenton and throws at all angles like Brett Farve. All I can say to Jags fans is take him and enjoy the show. It is absolutely riveting!

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be just a tad bit excited if we drafted him.

Sorry Bill in Texas but you sound just like all of the Arkansas fans who bombarded this board after we drafted Matt Jones. Where are they now?

I'll pass on Manziel. Gimme Watkins, Mack or Clowney.
Wait... we're the ones that get to make the decision?!?!

Well Khan better start coming off with the cash! Daddy don't work for free.

Or for that matter, like Florida fans about He Who Shall Not Be Named.  Although to be fair, JM should be a better pro.  I hope beyond hope Clowney somehow falls to number 3, but if he doesn't give me either of the other two guys you mentioned and I'll be happy.
I'd take Manziel in a trade down scenario.

'Regenerate' the franchise?

He meant rejuvenate...I think.
'Regenerate' the franchise?

Why does this feel like deja vu?

Why does this feel like deja vu?
"Makes thing's happen"

"All he does is win"

"Turns nothing into touchdown's"

"Is a great guy"

"Will put butts in seats"

Yeah, Rico, what you said.

Oh goody. It's Matt Jones all over again.
There is no way, the owner, a very smart businessman is going to let Johnny Manziel slip away.

If we pass on Manziel on Thursday I'm sure their will be multiple threads about it.
Manziel is an exciting prospect but I'd rather take Watkins, Mack or Clowney (in the unlikely event he's still available). On the other hand, I wouldn't be disappointed if we did pick him up.

Hopefully the Mods will delete those threads before they become toxic to this forum like another all he does is win QB that shall not be named.

Or the fans from this area who worship at the altar of Timmy Tebow.

Just replace the names. Same damn thing.

Yup.
Manziel is a far better prospect than that Gator guy was imo.
