I found this "stat" as tweeted by Doug Farrar interesting. I'll do some digging and see if this is true or not.
<p style="margin-left:40px;">"In 10 of McCarron's "wins," he didn't throw a [naughty word removed] touchdown pass. I mean, really
."
<p style="margin-left:40px;">
<p style="margin-left:40px;">Link
<p style="margin-left:40px;">
While Farrar may be technically correct, he is really misleading people here. McCarron had one game last season (2013) without a TD pass; versus Ole Miss. Alabama won 25-0.
In 2012, McCarron again had one game without a TD pass; a 42-10 win against Missouri.
In 2011, there were four games without TD's; a 41-0 win over North Texas, a 38-10 win over Florida, a 9-6 loss versus LSU, and a 24-7 win versus Miss. State.
Man, kind of a meany-face move by Farrar there.
