PF and I caught a game against Philly a few years back, and the Jags were destroyed that day. We sat next to some Philly fans, and we had a lot of fun with them. Sure, we all took some good natured jabs at each other, but it was all in fun, and I think everyone in that group enjoyed the game. Would have been more fun if the Jags had won, but it was still a great time.

You went in Philly? My wife and I went to a game up in Pittsburgh a few years ago. Originally we were sitting with the touchdown club in the corner of the end zone. They were loud, so we decided to move away from them.
We went to standing room only with my dad (a Pittsburgh fan) and ended up talking to a couple older ladies. They ended up giving my wife and I their tickets on the 20 yard line. Pretty good upgrade from where we were.
We were not loud and obnoxious and most of the fans were nice. We didn't flaunt our Jags stuff. If someone said something stupid, I can give it right back and didn't feel like fighting the stadium.
Not sure if posted yet but Jags play Giants on November 30th.

I think Dakota is talking about the most recent Jags-Eagles game in Jacksonville in 2010. Jags lost 28-3.
I completely forgot we play @ Philly this year. If my schedule isn't too hectic I'll probably make a trip for the game
The only game I've been able to attend was a Bears and Jags game in 2009. I didn't have a good experience, the fans were pretty rough and it was freezing cold. On of all that the Bears won. The fans weren't in the least friendly, anywhere, but I wore my Jaguars gear proudly.
I was 18 or 19 at the time and the only person I could see wearing Jags gear...I was outnumbered a little. They were rude people though alcohol contributed to that plenty.
The first five games are brutal. PHI and WAS on the road. Come home to open up against IND. And then it's a trip to SD and back home to PIT? I could see us maybe winning against PIT. They're not the same team they used to be over the last few years. SD always stomps us out West. WAS has a new headcoach in place. We "might" pull off an upset on the road. I don't know.
First month is potentially going to be miserable to watch. We'll see. After that though I don't think it's THAT bad. We should maybe get six wins this year.
I attended and tailgated at the Raiders game last year. Nice, wholesome folk there.
At least they have security in the bathrooms now (that's where they getcha)

I take it that George Michael is a Raiders fan?

Was he known for urinating on opposing fans too?

I think that's how they say hello..
