In the early 70s, three African-American brothers from Detroit who formed a garage band that played R&B music, but were inspired to switch to rock and roll by The Who and Alice Cooper.
The result was punk rock, before there was punk rock, from a band called Death.
They disbanded in 1977 and were rediscovered in 2009. There is a documentary telling their story.
