Quote:Regarding the above, you can plug WRs but you cannot plug #1 WRs which is in low supply.  Sammy Watkins would fill that need.  If not Sammy, your pass rusher (Clowney or Mack) would fill the need for a game changing pass rusher

Fair - but lets compare our DE depth to WR depth.  I don't believe of our DE's can be THAT guy.  WR Cecil can pretend, but Blackmon is THAT guy - though who knows if he'll ever play again.  The other deciding factor is WR depends on a QB to get them the ball, and Henne is the stop gap guy.  I think both positions are important, but it's critical to find the leader (young) pass rusher on our line.  WR talent in the 3rd to 7th round is wayy better than DE talent in the 3rd to 7th round.  Load up on DE early and often, load up on WR late in the draft.  Especially in a year with such little talent in the middle and bottom of the draft for DEs and such great talent throughout the draft for WR.  I also think there are a number of centers and guards who will drop in the draft who will be great fits for our scheme.
Clemons is a good pass rusher. We currently have complete garbage at interior oline. We need to get young players at both. But the question is the biggest need right now.
The only position of NEED is the LB position. We need an stud LB for Gus's D to click better than it did last year.

Positions to Up Grade are RG, QB and Depth... We're not far from where we need to be as per being consistently competitive...

I would be more concerned with Center, FS, CB, OLB, LT (in case Luke isnt a 100% and for depth a guy that could play Guard too if drafted in round 3).

Of course QB is an issuse that to me is pressing....

I didnt mention Leo DE because I know Dave is going to draft Clowney!
Outside of Shorts those other receivers are unproven.  I think Sanders is going to be a good receiver we still lack that deep threat. If Dave is unable to trade down  few picks I see Watkins not only the best pick but also the most safe pick.  Clowney has some production issues. The best QB's in the draft are not NFL ready.

It all starts up front fellas. We need a RG & C really bad. Without a O-line we cant run or pass. I don't want to relive and watch what happen last year on offense again.

D-line (as well as Defense as a whole), will be better than last year with the additions of Clemens and Bryant.
Outside of QB? That's easy, DE. We've finished dead last now over the last two years in sacks. We need to get that fixed as soon as possible. Under Bradley, I believe it happens this season. After QB and DE we should then shift our focus towards the interior of our offensive line. We will now have a new face at Center and RG. Joeckel is going to be at LT after a short rookie season at RT. And then that LG position is also always questionable. That's my biggest concern right now. Doesn't matter who you have at QB, if you can't protect him, he's dead.
