Quote:Someone check on Homebiscuit. That was a long and exciting comeback only to suffer crippling defeat at the end.

Here's to Kentucky being seeded in a different region than the Gators in NCAA tourney.

How could he trip and fall with 6 seconds left?  How?!

I have to hand it to Florida, they are unflappable.  And what a smothering defense.  Easily a final four team in the brackets and a likely contender for the prize.  (respectful applause)

We almost gave you guys the game with our horrid free throw shooting. Luckily we pulled it off.

I hope you guys can get to round 2 against Wichita St. That will be a fun game to watch for sure.

Me and my brother were talking about that game a little while ago.  We agree with you, it's gonna be a barn burner.

Quote:Anybody else take off Thursday/Friday? Two of the best days in sports. Louisville looks awesome right now.
I am off Friday and won't miss a game on Thursday, plus I'm off all next week too! Love Tourney time!
Quote:Brutal region for the Gators.
Really, how so? Being the #1 overall seed I don't think they got the best 2-4 in their region, but they got the second best. They catch a break with their #2. Kansas is hurting without their big man and Syracuse has bumbled and stumbled over last 10 or so games. UCLA as the #4, thank you.

Good point on Kansas but Pitt as the 2nd game is a bit stronng for a 9 seed Imo. Syracuse is a good team whether they have been struggling or not. They'll turn it on in the tourney.

Pitt was sort of on edge of not making it.  They are ok, but not as good as past years.

I should get to watch most of the game Thursday and I took Friday off to watch all day.

By the way, anyone see Coach K big timing it for the ACC?  Talking about the burner all the ACC basketball teams have to go through compared to other conferences?  Sounds like what an ACC fan would talk trash about the SEC and the rigors for football....
I love March Madness. Should be a great tournament this year.

Coach K started it weeks ago too. He was unhappy at the # of teams other conferences got over the ACC. He has been preaching it for years. particularly in the hey day of the Big East when they'd get 8, 9, 10 teams.

I mean, I kind of agree with him.  When you play in the toughest conference, your team should be rewarded.

I don't disagree a bit. I am waiting for the ACC folks to call coach K a bunch of names, and he sucks for believing in his conference.

I need the book still.

Look in the chapter "It's only wrong when the SEC does it"...you'll probably find what you're looking for there! :whistling:

I thought that was the book title.

I mean, if you didn't understand what we were saying through the 30+ pages of arguments back in December or January, I guess you never will.

What's the difference in Coach K believing it and the SEC coaches/fans saying it?
