This. DRC is a good corner, but not worth the contract he'll get.

With his injury history, he probably had no lucrative offers. He might start in NY for a year and cash in if he plays well.

Oh well.....I like our chances to draft the likes of McGill or Jean-baptiste to play the role of our tall physical corner opposite gratz

"Mariano Rivera" seems to be more like recent era Jon Papelbon

 

I was warming up to the possible Thurmond signing, but its not a huge loss, just as it wouldn't have been a huge impact had we signed him. 

I like our current secondary, and think they will be fine with a better front 7.


Thurmond might have been an upgrade over Ball or Harris, but for the price I'm not so sure.
