Quote:That whining about something, and then doing the same thing isn't going to change anything.

What does that have to do you have you conduct yourself?

So taking issue with racism is whining?

Depending on the level of offense and veracity of response it can be.

This.
Quote:Wow, this woman and her husband are so out of touch with the country they run. Also, Barry trying to stir up one last rift with Russia before he departs. January 20th can't come soon enough.

Can you elaborate more on what makes them out of touch with the country? I totally support her statement.. You think Trump gonna, care enough to do a better a job?

November 6th and the following days.

Completely out of touch with the country.

People are more hopeful with them leaving office.  They've held back economic progress for far too long.  It was not a well performing administration for eight years.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"Fifty-five percent said they believe things will be better for them in the coming year than in the year that just concluded. That's a 12-point improvement from last year's poll."

Twelve point improvement.

That's significant.
You'd be some country if you settled the left/right divide.

Yeah, but the Left doesn't want that and we have laws about just eliminating them.

Too much money in keeping people divided.

Quite the contrary, it's the divide which makes us such a dynamic country. Discord and debate are the elements of our founding and the essence of our continuance. Freedom of thought and speech is our very core. While our disagreements are spirited and occasionally spiteful, almost every participant from each side has a deep abiding love for our nation and what it represents.

I happen to believe we already have some country, but I may be a little biased.   Wink

Ah yeah nothing would ever get done if everyone agreed with each other all the time. Just seems like any serious American debate on important issues swing back to left vs right instead of the crux of what's actually wrong, although that might just be because I only see the political discussions on this board.

As far as government is concerned, nothing getting done is a good thing. The more government does, the more things get screwed up.

As far as individuals are concerned a lot gets done here. It wasn't the Department of Energy that made the US energy independent, although that was what they were originally created to do back in the 1970s.

Quote:No, I pretty much nailed your point.

Is talking politics politically correct?
