Based on his aticle he gathered a majority of sports media reporters information and the tally came to
Johnny Manziel with 17 votes for #3 overall
Teddy Bridgewater with 14 votes
Jadevon Clowney with 11 votes
Blake Bortles with 3 votes
Barr with 3 votes
Khalil Mack with 3
I do realize that some of them may not have voted for Clowney, Bridgewater, or Manziel thinking that they will be gone before #3 arrives, but I think the Jaguars should draft Clowney if he's there at #3!

That's one of my problems with Ted. For the most part he was kept very, very clean. Jaguars should know every QB looks spectacular when they aren't getting dirty. Yet many of those he did take, he shouldn't have.

So could Byron Leftwich, especially in college. (and on both points)

Quote:So could Byron Leftwich, especially in college. (and on both points)A lot of qbs take too many sacks in college. Its something that is coached out of qbs in the pros.
Leftwich also had a veeeery slow release, inaccurate and he didn't show the acumen needed to be a high end qb in the NFL.
The release really scared me though, Tebow like. Its impossible to have long term success with a release that slow

Agree that college doesn't always translate, even for top 10 QB picks.

Its always a bit of a toss up
