Quote:Teddy looks so much more polished than Johnny Football
Unless you have a noodle for an arm or get unlucky and injured, polished usually means you will be a top flight NFL qb
I've never heard anyone say anything that wasn't qualified with "compared to the rest."   Meaning, it's very possible the reports have always been true that none of these QBs carry better than a second round grade.  So, "polish" is quite a relative term.  It doesn't mean any of them are truly ready day one.  It doesn't mean that at all.

Very few qbs have come into the league who were regarded as "polished", Last one was Luck, the ones before were Ryan, Manning

Seeing its use in the past I have regarded "polished" as NFL ready. The only report the said that NONE of these QB's were ready was the one coming from the Bengals scout

I have seen several reports (not many) which said Bridgewater was the only 1st rounder of the qb class but he was a mid to late pick
I don't think that we'll be picking Teddy if he's there and I'm perfectly ok with that. I'd be sad if we picked em and I want Manziel.

Mayock:  I went back and watched some more Bridgewater tape and I am less impressed with him right now.

Did he elaborate?
this poll is invalid as there is no Tebow option. :whistling:

Quote:If they're all on the board, I take Clowney and try to target Carr in round 2 or Garroppolo/Murray/Mettenberger in round 3.

If we don't take one in first round I do hope they go after McCarron

I picked Clowney and I wouldn't draft any of the 3 quarterbacks with a ten foot pole.

I think Clowney is the best prospect in this draft class. He is a perfect scheme fit for the Leo position. His major weakness is the lack of elite strength for a defensive end which is less of an issue lining up wide of the OT. Learning under Clemmons is an ideal situation and will show him the effort needed to be a professional.
How many people would be highly upset or incredibly  happy if Dave drafts Teddy Bridgewater at #3?

I am still going with Clowney, as I did many months ago.

Why are you bumping old threads to tell us this?  There aren't enough threads already here to make these declarations?

I don't think anyone would be "upset" if Bridgewater is the pick.  I do think they'd see it as a bit of a reach.
