Not 'huge news', but its being reported that Teddy Bridgewater, Balke Bortles and Johnny Manziel have all formally been invited to New York City for NFL draft weekend. Which means that the NFL apparently agrees with most media outlets that have pegged these three QBs as the top Quarterbacks, and almost certainly first round selections.
Which begs the question, will any more QBs get invites this year to Day One? Just for a reference point, only Twenty three players attended last year's draft and 19 were taken in the first round.
The most I remember personally on record for Day One was 26-players during RG3's year.
And of course famously last year, Geno Smith was invited and attended, yet was left still sitting after the first round was over.
So what do you think? Will any other QBs be invited this year to the first round draft day, or will it be just the Big-3 for day one?
Carr might be invited but that's a stretch. No more than the Big 3 and Carr for sure
Manziel might slip but bortles and bridgewater won't. Even if manziel slips he won't be as bad as geno last year.

I like Teddy, but i feel come draft day he may fall to the vikings. Blake #1 johnny #3 and Teddy #8, no way any of them leave the top ten imo.

If anyone falls its manziel
There's a very decent chance that Manziel falls below Carr...so that could be an interesting scenario.

Nice user name. I really think manziel slides pretty hard, i like the kid but i see a lot of teams passing.
Begs the question doesn't mean "Raises the question".
And maybe Carr might get an invite. But that's probably it.

I don't get it, why? Why are they going?
If I wasn't considered by most a top 5 pick, I'd stay home!
I look at Garappolo for example... The kid is going to be sitting there the entire night probably, making it awkward for himself, his family, and heck - even us, the viewers. Just stay home, please.
It was better when they invited like five or six prospects.
We'll get to see Teddy's reaction at his draft day slide. I guess he didn't learn from Geno's mistake by attending last year.
free trip to New York plus awesome accommodations.
