unfortunately games aren't played in the mourning, so how tall he is then doesn't really matter.

It shouldn't matter anyway. All that matters is if he makes plays or not once the game starts.
Quote:I noticed Manziel mentioned Jacksonville and Houston in his presser...Maybe thinks those are his most likely destinations?

He thinks he is good enough to be picked #1 overall and wants to stay in Texas, where he lived his whole life. Obviously, if he is good enough to be #1 overall and the Texans pass on him the Jaguars are the next team he is good enough for because the Rams don't need a quarterback. So he is thinking, "If not the Texans, it should be the Jaguars." But I am sure he knows that may be unrealistic.

Scouts want to know his maximum height. What is the tallest he can possibly be? If he was measured in the afternoon, they would not know that number is under 6 feet.

Scouts want to know how tall he is during game time. All of your opinions on height is useless. If you want to argue that longer arm length would help compensate, sure, you'd have a point. But, the being taller in the morning thing is pointless.

I am not saying how it should be. Of course 1:00 would be a better time to measure him if they want to know his height at kickoff. But there must be a reason they measure early in the morning.
Quote:The idea he is not comfortable in the pocket comes from video evidence. Pictures speak louder than words, especially motion pictures. Remember this is the sane guy who said he will measure exactly six feet and was a quarter inch short of that. His private workout on March 27 will tell us how comfortable he is in the pocket if we don't know yet.
A quarter inch is pretty dang close. I am sorry, but for all practical purposes 5' 11" and 3/4" is 6 ft. So if his answer on preferring to pass in the pocket is as reliable as his height estimate, I would say its pretty spot on.
Quote:Explains your flawed analysis
Lol, your 'oldness' doesn't seem to make yours much better, I hear a lot of name calling coming from you too...

Your on the young side too, still got a lot to learn in the world

I am not the one who made up the idea they should worry about every quarter inch.
I made the mistake if entering this thread and am now leaving with a headache.

. Oh ya know the plethora irrational that is laced in the structure of this thread.. Hmm I believe I read somewhere in he that a "QB only needs to be able hand off and throw the occasional first down) then i heard Manzy is the most accurate and Bridgewater was compared too I don't remember but it made me laugh. Don't get me front I have no problem With Johnny Football but some of his followers are getting Tebowesk
All of the Bridgewater vs. Manziel debates are crazy. That is nothing new.

LOL Stupid people say stupid things. Who has the signature about stupid questions?

I try to be smart when I talk about draft prospects, so don't count me as one of them.
Just for fun I was watching some of his LSU tape... Noticing some interesting things. I need to do a third write-up for him, so expect one later tonight. (If anyone is interested)

That would be cool. I havent watched that tape in a couple months but from what I remember he suffered from some drops that put him in bad down and distances, and he tried to overcompensate. That lead to some mistakes, not to mention the horrible conditions in that game. I didnt think it was as bad as people thought but my memory could just be fuzzy.

I don't want to come off as biased but I was under a similar impression. Will give you the link when I'm done.
