We all have them. You know, those songs that we love but really don't want any of our friends to know about.

 

Here's one of mine; it's The Reeling by Passion Pit. This song can't get loud enough for me, and I feel ashamed and a bit dirty once the song is over. Kinda like Rico after he goes to La Nop for the Lunch Buffet.

I thought this was started by TMD based on the title.

It not actually bad music, just very poppy but a lot of people look at weird for liking this.

Despite having every reason to have an "evolved" taste in music  - I'm still a giant sucker for certain pop songs.

I'm also a giant sucker for rock songs that employ the tried and true technique of "soft verse - loud chorus"

Cyndi Lauper's girls just wanna have fun. Not my genre of choice per se but that song really does it for me for done reason. 30 yr old male talking here.

The common thread here seems to be pop music. We all like some of it, but don't want to admit it.
