Wow 20,000 fans.. What do we call that in the NFL? Oh yeah, a blackout.

Oh the musings of the miserable, middle-age man
Great episode of Supernatural.

The NFL is an anomaly. There are only a few sports leagues in the world who can reliably draw crowds over 50k.
Quote:yeah, sucks when I have it all figured out don't it? Just tears you up. LOL @ "middle age man". I'm probably younger than you. Americans that have latched on to soccer in recent years are largely poseurs.
What then would you call people who became fans of football, basketball, hockey, etc., when the leagues were little to nothing? There has to be a starting point and to call the majority "poseurs" is simply wrong. With that logic, anything relatively new that starts/is starting to grow, can be applied to anything or anyone.

Did you try turning it off and back on again?

Like the "poseurs" who used Twitter a few years ago. They were just hipsters who didn't want to use Facebook or Myspace.

Seriously doubt you are younger than I am. Based on your disdain for anything that came after the year 1992, you probably easily have 10 years on me.
You don't really seem to have much figured out. Especially your own inflated sense of self worth.
