If you're going to supply links as 'proof' they should actually...you know...prove something.

At this point in their career, Lebron has had two extra seasons in the NBA...thats a big advantage.
With the game on the line, I would choose Jordan every time. Lebron isnt nearly as clutch as Jordan and Lebron still isnt willing to put his team on his back enough and take over games to win. Jordan wasnt in the NBA and playing games on the bench, he was there to win.
I like Lebron, and at the end of his career he may have more titles than Jordan, but I would still pick Jordan in his prime over Lebron to lead my team. By the way, player of the year is no indication....there were more top end players (imo) in Jordan's day that could win the MVP.

Substance or argument? What a dunce. You contradict yourself in your own damn post.
Jordan was called the greatest of all time. Then in your own damn post you say James is becoming the greatest of all time. Which, by the way, is impossible to prove unless you have a crystal ball. So, by your own admission, James is not the greatest of all time as we live and breath today.
And if you want some personal input, why was James never able to win a championship until he got on a team with two other superstars in Bosh and Wade? Jordan carried the Bulls his entire career with nothing resembling another star player other than Pippen. And we see what happened to Pippen once Jordan left.
Don't worry, one day you'll grow up.

I agree that Jordan is the better player but I don't agree with this. Lebron has put his teams on his back. He's basically doing that in Miami right now since Wade plays once every week it seems. Also, Poor timing as Lebron just hit a buzzer beater last night.
And Lebron is in the nba to win titles, there is no disputing that. Just because he isn't a jerk like MJ doesn't mean anything. I realize MJ being like he was made him so special.

Aren't they pretty much pacing Wade to save him for the finals?

Trying to. But it's very odd and makes me question how healthy wade is. He played like 6 games in a row recently and just missed two this week. Seemed more normal when they just never played him on back to back games. I never expect him to play if it's a game time decision.

And James' whole announcement about 'taking his skills to Miami' wasn't jerkish and big-headed?

Quote:I'm curious how Jordan was a jerk?He punched Steve Kerr, constantly berated teammates, Kwame Brown, Chamillionaire, and what he said about Barkley are a few examples. I didn't think this was news and it made him who he was. His mindset is completely different than any other player but he was a pretty mean person to anyone who got in his way. Don't care, just saying you can want to win without having his mindset.
And James' whole announcement about 'taking his skills to Miami' wasn't jerkish and big-headed?
I thought it was wrong to do it that way but he donated a ton of money raised from it. Definitely big headed though but he doesn't act like that at all anymore.

Jordan had 30 game winning shots....eight in the postseason and two in the NBA finals, with one of those to win the '98 finals.
He doesnt have a game winning 7th game shot though.....because his teams never got to the 7th game.
Jordan willed his teams to games. They played off his energy and he made everyone around him better. I dont feel like Lebron gives off that same vibe.

It's apparent some folks commenting on MJ aren't old enough to actually have watched and remembered MJ.
Their version certainly doesn't match history.
"Jerk"... lol.

Jordan 9-18 in the postseason. Lebron is 5-12. Lebron has 17 (now 18) total.
I'm not even saying lebron is better. Just saying I don't agree with your original point. Jordan had a killer instinct no other player had but that's not the only way to play.
Yeah lebron never wills his team. Lebron makes his teammates better than Jordan ever did. No player gives his teammates more open shots than lebron except maybe Nash and Cp3.
