Quote:It's apparent some folks commenting on MJ aren't old enough to actually have watched and remembered MJ.
Their version certainly doesn't match history.
"Jerk"... lol.
Read about him. He was a pretty rude person. Put Kwame Brown on the verge of tears and called him something I can't say. Chamillionaire told a story on youtube and people who work for him have said he is pretty rude.
Whenever he disrespects someone nike offers to send them Jordan apparel. They keep it all under wraps but he, as a person, is pretty jerk like.
Quote:Yall crazy the GOAT is Darko Milicic
What?!?! No love for Kwame Brown?
Quote:Jordan 9-18 in the postseason. Lebron is 5-12. Lebron has 17 (now 18) total.
I'm not even saying lebron is better. Just saying I don't agree with your original point. Jordan had a killer instinct no other player had but that's not the only way to play.
Yeah lebron never wills his team. Lebron makes his teammates better than Jordan ever did. No player gives his teammates more open shots than lebron except maybe Nash and Cp3.
There is no way in this world Lebron makes his teammates than Jordan did. Lebron couldnt win in Cleveland on his own. Everyone says Pippen was Jordan's wingman, but after Jordan left Pippen didnt do anything. Jordan made the guys around him so much better. He even had Rodman riding the straight and narrow (at least Rodman's version of straight and narrow)

Who did Lebron have in Cleveland worth a damn? Pippen isn't an all time great but he's a top 100 player all time. Cleveland was pretty good after lebron left.
Lebron gets his teammates more involved which is why I saw he makes everyone better. Jordan did too but not to that extent.

Pretty good is 19-63? I guess you have a different definition of 'pretty good'.

I guess you have a pretty poor understanding of sarcasm.
And Bulls record after Jordan left:
13-37
17-65
15-67
21-61
I may have a pretty poor understanding of sarcasm, but I fail to see what you mentioned as any validation of who the better player is.
I figured. You're 24. You never saw Jordan play.

Both teams were terrible when they (Jordan/Lebron) left. Please show me where I said lebron was better. I've said multiple times that Jordan is better.
1994 bulls where he only played 17 games won 50+.
Nope. Never seen one game or read anything about him. My age makes me biased even though I've said he's the best.

Read about it? I was watching him since he was in college.
Anyone can be perceived as a jerk at any particular moment in time, but MJ was certainly no jerk generally speaking.
Fiercely competitive, in a rare way. Gambler. Cheating hubby. Had a hard time with retirement.
Yes, all those things.
But "jerk" doesn't fit the bill. Imperfect off the court? Sure.

I think some of the things he's done label him a jerk. Thats my opinion.
On a completely unrelated note, I hate the fact that my phone knows that I've been browsing for facts about the Bulls and Cavs. It just sent me the Cavs score from last night....as if I care.
1984 (30 years late).

Lol. They are a train wreck. I don't know how mike Brown still has a job.
Quote:Substance or argument? What a dunce. You contradict yourself in your own damn post.
Jordan was called the greatest of all time. Then in your own damn post you say James is becoming the greatest of all time. Which, by the way, is impossible to prove unless you have a crystal ball. So, by your own admission, James is not the greatest of all time as we live and breath today.
And if you want some personal input, why was James never able to win a championship until he got on a team with two other superstars in Bosh and Wade? Jordan carried the Bulls his entire career with nothing resembling another star player other than Pippen. And we see what happened to Pippen once Jordan left.
Don't worry, one day you'll grow up.
Spin it whichever way you want. Jordan isn't the best.

Take a look at the Cavs' record after Lebron left. They just has their first 4 game winning streak since Lebron left last night.

a. It isn't 'spin' when I'm just repeating what you say.
b. IF James can catch up to Jordan in championships, you might be able to make a case for it. He hasn't.
c. Have you seen them BOTH play over the course of several seasons? I know what the answer to that is. I have.
Spin it however you'd like. Your opinion is uninformed.

I'm right, and you're wrong.

You said he was becoming the greatest......meaning he isnt yet, but he is getting there.
In 5-10 years he may over take Jordan in all statistical categories. I'll believe it when I see it.

He doesn't seem to understand that.

So what are you going to do now?
Hold your breath?
Take your ball and go home?
Even your own damn articles that you posted don't support it. Every one has caveats and every one is filled with 'if he does this' or 'if he does that' scenarios that he needs to accomplish to pass Jordan.
Mature my butt......

I don't need to prove anything else. Why? Because I'm never wrong. That's why.
