Yea that's why when asked for a source I replied "Ryan O", please get a clue before posting.

Memo to the media....you're stupid

Meme to Mr. Khan....don't get stuck on stupid
You never fail to amuse me.  Thanks for the chuckle.

Quote:This is a public forum, and you posted something someone else wrote without crediting the author. Very much frowned upon in the US court system! How is he an idiot?

Some of you are so quick to jump the gun, read through page one of this thread, where I clearly credited Ryan O, lol get clue people.

Jag nation needs some news. LOL.  Is there a game today?

I also remember Khan saying he wanted Tim Tebow but that didnt happen, so ...

I dunno it goes against what his OC had said pubiclly about Henne & Gabbert, but he is the owner.. i highly doubt if he drafts two qbs that henne will be resigned or that Gabbert will remain for much longer..

And the Jags tried to get Tebow, but he chose the Jets (unless you are a conspiracy theorist and believe Tebow didn't have a choice).

I have a clue. You should do just a little research before spouting off. Just posting "Ryan O." is not giving a source. A source would be a link to the article. You may not be taking this seriously, but the Jaguars most assuredly do.
Quote:Bridgewater or Manziel at #3 and I'll be happy.  I'd be cool with trading back into the first and getting Bortles late.
Bortle won't be there late.  He'll be one of the top three qb's off the board.  And I'd prefer him over Manziel.

I'd be happy with Bortles, Bridgewater, or Manziel in the 1st.  And then pick up Aaron Murray or AJ MacCarron in the 3rd.

It wasn't just the quote from Khan.   It was the entire post that was copied and pasted from another source.

===============================================================================================

Jaguars owner Shad Khan confirmed the team plans to draft a quarterback.

"Everybody knows we're going to draft a quarterback - maybe two," Khan said. The Jaguars hold the No. 3 pick in May's draft and very possibly could get their choice of the group, considering the Texans could take Jadeveon Clowney and the Rams don't appear to be in the market for a signal caller. Chad Henne is a free agent, and Blaine Gabbert's time has likely run up in Jacksonville. Henne could be brought back to help tutor a young quarterback. Central Florida's Blake Bortles, Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater, and Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel are widely viewed as the top three quarterback prospects. Jan. 31 - 1:25 pm et

You're being an unreasonable nattering nag.  Just stop.

Quote:If you didn't write that post, if you just copied and pasted the entire thing from an article you found on the internet, darn right you should cite the source, and put the entire post in quotes.   I'm amazed that anyone would question that.   Good God, you do not just copy and paste someone else's work as if it was your own.
This isn't "work", academic, journalistic, or otherwise.  98% of us understood it was a quote at first glance.  This is a message board.  A link would be nice.  But get over being MLA police.

I did stop.   I stopped four days ago.   I'm neither nattering nor am I nagging.   I am simply pointing out that by all the written and unwritten rules of our society, this message board, and the internet in general, what he did was just plain wrong.

He's edited his original post to correct what he did, which is good.   But what he originally did was post an entire paragraph from someone else's blog without attribution, as if he wrote it himself.   And what amazes me is how many people think that is an okay thing to do.

It's an Internet message board. Any expectation of reasonable decorum by the majority is like asking for spic and span toilets at a I-95 rest stop.

Ain't gonna happen.

Good work, but I'm taking 3 points off because you formatted your bibliography incorrectly.

Any chances of our GM Dave signing Michael Bennett, DE from Seattle to aid in our pass rush, the team has the cap room and he worked under the same DL, DC/HC Gus?

This possibility has been kicked around in previous discussions here, but it's been reported that Seattle wants to sign him. He makes sense here, but those young, ascending DE's tend to be a bit pricey.

There is a chance and I would love to see us sign him, but I know Seattle is going to try their best to resign him or franchise him if possible.
A few good choices in Free Agency I wonder if Dave will sign any of them, like Jarius Byrd, FS (Bills) imagine him and Cyprius in the backfield especially with a good pass rush...

I had the feeling that Dave would only build from the draft and not go with Free Agency though.

I doubt it, looks like he wants to be in Seattle and Seattle wants him.
Telling you guys right now...

It will Bridgewater in the first for sure
