I am assuming Todman is in the plans for next season.  Given the present MJD uncertainty I'd imagine we would more likely be in the market for a back who is suited for running through the lines rather than around them.  I don't believe CJ fits this bill.

I think CJ might eat some humble pie and resign with the Titans for cheap.

I wouldn't be too surprised if he ended up in St. Louis as a complement to Zac Stacy, and a replacement for Isaiah Pead.

Just what the Jaguars need, a RB that can be knocked over with a feather.

I feel this pic needs posting again.  (It used to be my sig)

No thanks. He's just about the money. Not worth it. I also read somewhere he wouldn't play for less than 5 mil. Not likely to happen, but I really doubt he would come here.

For the vet minimum I'd let him compete for a spot outside of that no way.  Younger talent can be had with equal to better production since I feel his production is going to drop over the next few years.

A little input on CJ from a Tack fan.

He is on the decline in his career, but he might still have something left in the tank. His decline isn't as steep as it looks. Our O-Line went to hell, and we have yet to get a good return on what was invested last offseason. We've had pretty inept coaching to go along with that. It's not a lack of effort. We all see him trying. There just isn't much he can do when he's getting hit in the backfield over and over. He's a gym rat. He always shows up in shape. He stays out of trouble. He's actually pretty intelligent despite the fact that things never come out right when there's a microphone in his face. There are Titans fans who don't like him, and never did. He's not a power back, and he shouldn't be used like one. I don't view his wanting to leave if he isn't used right as a slap in the face. He knows he isn't earning that contract, and he wants to earn it. It's hard to imagine him sticking around with the contract and lack of production, but he would be a good option on the cheap for some team that does know how to use him. Definitely more west coast offense.

I agree with you, 'chop, I think he's got a 2nd act in him. Given a decent OL, good coaching and proper encouragement/motivation, he could be a;; roght. We probably have 2/3 over here no RB can succeed without a good OL.

C2K on the Jags squad?  No thanks...I am hard wired to hate any and all things Titans so I just can't wrap my head around this...

Uh oh...
todman and robinson are both backs with the speed to get to the outside, if we are loosing mjd we need a between the tackles runner

i would say ben tate but i think he will want too big of a pay day and i'm not sure he is the long term answer

if we were going rb in fa i wouldn't mind seeing us go toby gerhart

injuries are a concern but he is a big explosive back and has youth on his side plus i think would give good value for a starting spot

if not the draft is full and though I don't want to use more than a 4th on an rb this year i think lance seastrunk or james white could provide good production and value in the later rounds

I don't really like Carey. He looks way too slow on the field.
If he actually put in effort, and took a cut in pay, I'd take him. He's a playmaker we lack on this team, and we'd be stealing him from a division rival.

For some reason I can't quote, but CatAttack78, you got me - although Marks to me was not as synonymous with the Titans as Johnson is, but I am thankful to have Marks

Marks was resurrected from the bowels of hell..
Going to have to go with a No, I would rather have MJD back plus the draft has plenty of depth i think we could just go that route.
