Just give me a back like Wilder in the draft and go Todman/Wilder for the future.

Would rather draft Seastrunk.

Would rather gouge my eyes out with scissors.

Would rather watch "Love & Monsters" again. Ten times. In a row.
would really hate to see that guy in jax... if u are gonna go the "aging vet RB" route, just resign MJD... feel like it would be us picking up another teams garbage.

To add to this topic; former teammate Keith Bulluck chimes in on Chris Johnson with an almost incomprehensible quote:

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"...'He’s a friend of mine but when it comes to athlete, he’s a ‘me’ person. He’s a ‘me’ person when it comes to the athlete.'
..."

He would fit well in Jax with his gold or platinum grill and rasta hair doo.

No thanks.
uummm...NO!

Quote:How would everyone feel about Chris Johnson in a Jaguar uniform??? I personally would welcome the ideaof bringing in a former 2000 yard rusher who would help alleviate some pressure from a young qb who we will eventually draft.
uhhhh.... No thanks
His skill set would compliment Gerhart perfectly. I don't understand all of the objection here. He could be added for a very reasonable price. I would cringe at the idea of him being our bell cow but that's not what the scenario would be. He has not lost his homerun capability although he has slowed down some. He is still one of the most electric RBs in the league. I think too many of you think this is just like the MJD situation we just saw. This is completely different. CJ1K has shown he still has a lot left in the tank while MJD appeared to be running on fumes. Gerhart and CJ1K would give us a very dangerous run game and a return to Thunder and Lightning but at RB this time.

I could never root for that guy.

The future is not made by spending your money on history books.

Whatever, you say this as we just signed a bunch of old dudes at defensive end. give me a break. Anyway I feel like the ideal spot for him would be with the Clots im sure he would easily beat Trent Richardson lol. But yeah I would love if he signed with us. We would have a sick one-two punch with him and Toby.
I'm on the no thanks band wagon. I don't know for sure what is wrong with the guy,and  I can't say I want to watch it first hand with the Jaguars.

I agree. I don't want that bum in Jax.
No to CJ.  He has speed then nothing.

Aging speed back with toughness and work ethic concerns?  Nope.

If we can trade down in the first and pick up and extra 2nd or 3rd rounder, I'd rather draft Sankey or Mason then sign CJ1/2K.

There's just no reason to pick up another teams worn down and on the decline RB, especially with the RB position being as devalued as it is right now.

You can pick up a young, productive RB in the later rounds of the draft if you do your homework and his rookie contract won't cost you to much.
